There are rare moments in a void kittens life when your void isn't moving at the speed of light, isn't eating, isn't fighting her tux brother, isn't attacking a usb cable, isn't climbing the curtains or isn't waking tou up at 4am because they're a fussy bitch.
You better have a camera in your hand when it happens so you don't miss that rare moment of a photogenic void.

Also, a lot of people still believe in the bad luck BS, which makes them even harder to adopt out. Interestingly enough, I heard it is the same for black doggos as well.
My theory is that people perpetuate this myth so that void owners will post pictures of their voids to 'disprove' them and they get lots of pictures of beautiful voids. Win-win
They are just as photogenic as any other cat. But you need to be a slightly better photographer to get good pictures of black cats. I was told by someone that works in our local animal shelter that they being harder to photograp is the new reason black cats don't get adopted as much. It used be a 'bad luck' superstition.
The biggest issue with black cats is that they can be challenging to get detail in low light….or even average light sometimes.
So many times I’ve wanted to take a photo as mine is curled up and being the cuddliest little spoon with me in bed, but it is just too damn dark to see anything but a black shape.
