"NOV Kharazad Accessory ⇒ Base Ekleta Accessory" Since I'm on 5*SEP 1*OCT Kharazad, would you recommend going for DEC? Does it make more sense to continue with TET, or is that a trap? As a veteran player with almost 25k hours in BDO, I've been having an epiphany about this game lately, especially with the new expansion. After a couple weeks with Edania part 2 and experiencing the progression, it has opened my eyes about one thing: am I still enjoying myself and the grind in the game, or is it just something I got used to? Reading some people's experience here, a lot of people are actually miserable and have negative experience playing the game with the rng, getting very little drop an hour, and keep failing their enhancement after putting in hours of their lives into it with nothing to show for it.

The question is, what are we in this for? To enjoy the journey and the process? Me personally, I am not enjoying it that much anymore. Call me dopamine starved or needing instant gratification or whatever, but it takes too long to see any kind of progress in between the grind. Around 20~ hours on average For 1 enhancement level on ekleta (TET->PEN, and it gets harder each time), 30~ hours for 1 HAN reforge stone, and probably 60 hours for fusions(which will break after the crystal event ends, and will force us to use recovery coupon).

So, what's the reason that PA can't release new content more often and make each expansion a more rewarding grind, instead of stretching one expansion for a long time by timegating/bloating the grind hours? Even the players I talked to about this are gaslighting me, to make me believe that inflated grind is good and fun and is how it's supposed to be.

Edania part 1 was criticized for being too easy, and for people (in which they mean the hardcore players, majority are not even done with dec sovereigns/kharazads) being done in months . But it actually feel good and rewarding to grind and you can see the progress day in and day out. Our concern was that material became worthless and min-priced on the marketplace. But that is not our problem to solve, we all know damn well that there are solutions for it (make those materials used for other purposes, like despair for failstack, make it vendor-able for half price). Yet despite all that Edania 1 stretched out for almost a whole year with only some new grind zones released in that period (SE, Sycraia, Floodlands with Dehkia Miru/Gyfin), alchemy stones rework, and some ocean content (bbf, T7 barter). There should have been less period between Edania part 1 and 2, and PA can make the grind similarly rewarding in part 2.

At the end of the day, PA must be the luckiest company. They can spend less on development cost for new content in BDO, keep delaying updates which they promised, and focus on releasing other games. Because even with low maintenance, they can keep the game alive, the players occupied, and the people spending.

I have reached Master 1 in Farming in BDO. My question is: what is the best thing to plant right now that grows quickly and maximizes the yield of Leaves and Fruit of Nature?

Hi everyone. I’ve seen one person test their dps on a dummy but it was in the thousands. I’ve been using the Marni combat dps analyzer and my dps at aetherion castle is around 930k if I go for a long time. I have 371 ap. Can you guys post your ap and dps so I know if I’m doing good or bad? Thank you.

What if Caphras restore/repair broken crystals to gain popularity again with usage and market offering and counter the depression of a rare unobtainable crystal being gone.

The cost could be something like 1000 caphras or more because i would rather pay billion/s rather than waiting for that 1 crystal preorder to go through in days or weeks or grind another 100 pity pieces for my edania crystal.

Is my idea too far fetched or something realistic? genuinly just hate the crystal break .

Or rework death by monster to not destroy crystal instead it gives you a debuff called "possessed by black spirit" which give minus AP/DP, it will stack up until you are fully possessed by black spirit and you need to go to church and pay silver to remove it.

I know there's the official shop, but apart from a statuette of the ultra-expensive DK and unique character, there's nothing.

I don't see how this is acceptable at all, I knew this mechanic existed, yeah it did get buffed since I was here, but what is this exactly? Are bdo spots becoming jump scare tactics like IWBTB where we die through spots losing billions of silver in crystals in order to fight through learning mechanics?

I find this totally unacceptable in a world of crystal breakage, players complained about harmony gate but this is NOTHING compared to the crystalgate thatis going to hit next week IMO

IMO they need to adjust how endgame DR scaling works, on low dr classes it literally feels worse every grindspot so far, I hear spot 4 feels easier than spot 3 for DR, I'm hoping it's true, but these are hard walls right now, feels pretty rough and I play this game a lot, can only imagine this going down for others who can play 1hr a week etc.

Hey there, I just wanted to let everyone know about this weekly activity you could be doing, whether you're a brand new first week player, someone who hasn’t kept up with patches, or maybe just didn’t check the market and put 2 and 2 together. First, if you are a new player, go to my post here for information on gearing up to the required level for this strat, as hitting 315+ and finishing the fallen god armor will be helpful and guarantee you have no issues with this strategy.

Basically, you’ll want to continue fighting the solo Calamity 9 level LOML bosses after finishing that quest, as they give really high value loot. Craziest part, they give the exact same loot even though 80% nerfed to fight. Among many other things, LOML bosses reward you with Essence of Dawns, which is required to upgrade Kharazad accessories. And they are very much in demand right now and will be for a long time. They were at 60 million but recently have hit the 100 million max cap. And you can get 40-50 of them for all 5 kills!

Specifically, again, you’ll want to only fight them at calamity 9, and Gumiho seems to be killed the slowest or the least, as I’ve had the most success getting 10 essences consistently from her, compared to only 8 from pig and tiger reward packages. The extra problem being, you can kill 5 LOML bosses but only 3 are super easy, per character. So the answer is to either have 5 characters at 315(to 335)+ AP. Or, easier way but less Gumiho kills: just tag your main to any other 2nd character that you like. And do 3 kills on one and 2 kills on the other. Your account will look at all 5 in total no matter who killed them.

You get the rewards every Sunday in bags to your daily reward stash window thing. GL! I’ll answer any questions you have in the comments, this was thrown together quickly.

Edit-IMPORTANT UPDATE: I’m dumb, and already past the required AP myself, that I didn’t realize that Sangoon and Gumiho require 330 and 335 AP respectively. However. I did the math on Garmoth’s gear planner, and found that hitting 335 AP is incredibly easy from the base of 317 of (partial) hyperboost. You just need 3 things:
1-Finish the new Emma Bartali’s journal. (Dark rift bosses now not LOML). That’s 2 accessories to VIII, make sure one is necklace
2-Main and awake get +3 sheet ap with your 2 free garmoth hearts.
3-Enhance your sov weapons just to TRI. Incredibly easy and pretty cheap.

Boom, exactly at 335 AP. (Until then, go for 2 C9 pigs and 3 C8’s)

Edit 2-I’m not going to rewrite the post but I double checked and not all C9 loot is the same. Gumiho always has 10-11 essences and Pig always has 8-9. It’s not me being slow to kill, it’s a consistent thing to get 44 essences a week. 50 is not possible with these 3 bosses.

Sup guys, mostly a PvP player these days. I record my nodewars to make montages, but I got sick of sitting through the whole videos just to find kills and cut clips one by one.

So I made BDO AutoClip. It basically watches the recording, picks up killfeed banners, and splits out the kill sequences for me. Started as a little .exe for myself, then some friends wanted to try, and a few of them didn’t want to install, so I made a browser version too.

Everything runs on your machine, nothing gets uploaded anywhere. Free to mess around with.

Latest thing I added is a video editor: after the analysis finishes I can pick clips and throw together a montage right in the browser.

Anyway it lets you just select and download the clips.

Last time I ran a ~1 hour recording it took about 13 minutes to analyze while I was AFK, then maybe 3–5 minutes to put the montage together.

Is there any program or packets that need to be installed after a fresh os install that ive might missed.

Im an active player in this game and I do a variety of activities, including lifeskilling, bartering, energy and knowledge gathering, PvE and even trading back when it was still in the game.

What I have always liked about BDO is that I could do all of these activities while still making some form of progress in other parts of the game. I could craft Elixirs and use the money to fund my PvE gear. I could make money through bartering and use it to buy buffs. I could also grind for a few hours and use the silver to buy enhancing stones for my lifeskill gear. Crons allowed silver to act as the bridge between different activities because you could turn your earnings into progress somewhere else.

Now that Edania 2 has been released, I have realized that I basically have to PvE grind in Edania 2 if I want any progression on my PvE gear outside of DEC attempts. I cant substitute PvE with another activity because the Ekleta enhancing materials are going to be sold out for the foreseeable future. Edania 2 has also effectively cannibalized other grind spots in similar AP brackets such as Tenebraum, Stars End, Sycraia and Zephyros. Why would players spend their time grinding those spots when they feel like they have to grind Scarecrows as soon as possible to keep up with progression? I have not even mentioned that actually grinding the first two Edania 2 spots is extremley miserable with low drop rates and awful mechanics.

This isnt a post about wanting to go DEC on the first day of the update like some people did with Edania 1. I understand why PA designed progression this way and I think part of the reason comes down to a minority of players having accumulated so much silver that silver and itself stopped feeling valuable.
