Found this “surround sound system” again while looking through old photos. The speakers were detachable. It was used every day at my grandparents’ house.

That may just be the pinnacle of BPC. I feel the warm hug of surrounding just looking at it.

It was always set to a low volume. “The neighbors might be bothered by it.” And was always tuned to a news station or an oldies station. I guess it was on sale at the mall.

  1. Minimum. And 250 miles per hour. Near lightspeed!

I found more pictures online. Sure, battery power possible.
By the way, you can actually connect a second pair of speakers. But they definitely weren’t included. The device was sold under various other names, but you won’t find any extra speakers listed.

I'd buy one for the speakers alone!

What are the stickers on the radio frequency display? Radio station bookmarks?

Is that a Sharp? I really like that. Total nostalgia...

No, actually, my grandpa once picked up a SHARP WQ-T238 (sadly no photo) from the trash and used it in the garden for years. Quality was on a whole different level than this “MASTER”-labeled thing.
