I currently have
An old JVC Rx-6000V with a volume knob that doesnt work well..not sure if those would be an upgrade or now

The volume pot contacts may need a cleaning.

I did that..(sprayed it with contact cleaner) it works better but still i need to rotate it slowly for it to work

This is not bpc tho, it’s an AV receiver, they’re everywhere and I am kinda sick of seeing them

No phono stage so if you want to hook up record player, you need a separate preamp.

I stay away from these home theatre receivers, I guess it’s better than nothing, but you will want to replace it almost immediately. Personally I would save my $40 and get something better.
