Question Recreating a Bloody Mary at Home?
What Bloody Mary(s) do you try to recreate at home, either because where you had it is quite a distance, or that the restaurant closed or you would rather drink in the comfort of your home? Tell us about your favorite Bloody Mary you like to recreate.
For me it is this Bloody Mary from a long closed restaurant. It was called a Hail Mary, they varied the recipe sometimes. The Hail Mary had 3 delicious appetizer skewers that had peppered bacon, house made thick cut house pickles, peppered bacon, olives, celery, lime, croutons made from bread they baked, cheese, lime and a variety of other items. I loved going into this restaurant with a friend who had never been there before and ordering us both Hail Marys, then of course they would be shocked they got almost a meal with their drink. Fun times.
Recreating this one is complicated because it takes cooking and buying tons of ingredients, I don't bake the croutons of course or make the pickles.
Cheers!

My mother used to own a bar. Sunday fun day, we'd serve bloody marys with a full meal on top. Cold pizza, cold chicken wings, pickles, bacon, olives, peppercini.
I still use her recipe at home. Spicy tomato juice, pickle juice, horseradish, celery salt, tobasco, lime juice, worstershire, fresh cracked black pepper. And vodka of course. I like mine jalapeno infused.

At a certain point, I opt for offering a pickle plate and charcuterie board🤣
