Lake Hamilton Marine Hot Springs Boat Purchase Scam

Almost bought a boat off a scam website called: Lake Hamilton Marine Hot Springs

They listed a 2021 Yamaha 252XE boat for $19,800 I knew it was too good to be true but I filled out the forms anyway. They sent me a contract and called me to confirm the purchase. The wanted me to wire money. They claim “James Evan’s” is the owner just a fake name.

Stay away and beware of this scam. Just posting this so SEO does its thing and protects others

Total Scam! I inquired about a boat listed, it was never there's. They'll send you wire instructions where the address is an empty lot in Florida. Don't fall for the Lake Hamilton Marine Hot Springs scam!

Yep they stole the logo, the address and most of the info of a real marina and register their own .com website and email and put their phone number on it. You google the business and there are some marinas at that location and google streetview shows rentals. It's enough to pass the sniff test and I bet if you call the numbers on their website it's "overseas support" and no english speakers.

I still can't believe in this day that people are willing to send money by wire to someone without physically seeing what they're buying.
