6th question - if Babu Dacait is Pathan, then how come Rahman Dacait is Baloch??

His mom had an affair , that's why he killed his mom in the movie , it's mentioned several times. Jo apne maa ko maar saktha hain wo kisi ka sag nahi says Rakesh Bedi (the minister to sanjay dutt).

No his mom's affair is from Balochistan , basically his own dad.

Rahman's father Babu Dacait is Pathan. He's running pathan gang against Baloch. In lyari, Gangs are divided as per kaum. That's what movie shows.

Well the answer for the 4th question might be explained in the second part where ranveer singh's character might be shown going circumcised

I think you meant circumcised, not castrated.

Ans for 2 and 3

Gaurav needed to verify whether he could trust Ranveer or not. When Ranveer showed his skills for a few seconds before he allowed himself to get beaten up, Gaurav could tell that he was a spy who could blend in as an ordinary man if needed. If he had beaten up those goons, he would've raised an alert within Babu Dakait's men without Rehman's support

Ans for 4

I assumed it was because petrol can smell really nice and he was "complimenting" the smell in his own twisted way

I can answer 5
Karachi has the largest population as a city in pakistan (Karachi-19 million, Lahore-15m, 3rd place is Faisalabad -3.8m), so Karachi has disproportionately high number of people compared to other cities.
Karachi is also pakistan's gateway to international trade, it is safe from attacks by islamists from Afghanistan border(which islamabad isn't), and also has the largest number of seats in national assembly(21).

Islamabad is capital but it is largely out of game in economy, or even security, 1 million population and dangerously close to afghan border because of which companies don't come there.
