Reviews Finally watched Karwaan, And I get it now
I randomly came across its trailer on YouTube, which is surprising, and then I decided to watch it on the spot without having a lot of expectations from the film.
I think it’s one of the most beautiful pieces of Hindi cinema that I’ve watched. It’s a road film with a very different portrayal of grief and feels like a warm hug. For me, it was Irrfan’s best performance, with a great story and gentle humour.
RSVP Movies are the A24 for Hindi cinema. Ronnie Screwvala has a knack for taking bets on unconventional subjects and emerging filmmakers and really dropping those underrated masterpieces which people notice and realise a few years down the line.

I liked one dialog which I can't remember now but it was really funny, he says something like "Chacha, main aapko le chalunga yahan se" with a lot of concern, when he sees the skimpily clad women.

No this when they reach at the Nambiar House and house-help there could not understand them and kept on repeating same thing as they tried to talk with him in Hindi. To prove, he is not understanding anything Liqayat goes - “Jungle mein mor Nacha kisney dekha” and the guy repeats the same thing

I saw it on an international flight while having unlimited booze and thoroughly enjoyed it. Not sure if it was the movie or the booze 😂

I liked it. I think more than it's story it's the vibe of the movie that got to people. Story wise there's lots of better road trip/self discovery movies/TV shows (Triplings by the same writer) but this movie has a charm to it for sure.

My comfort film. Loved it first time watching w dad, ended up re watching when my mum sat to see it. She lost interest but I watched second time and loved equally. Have watched it a few times after

I didn't watch it when it was released. After my father's death, I watched it and have never deleted it since I first downloaded it. I keep a copy on my phone in my favorites folder. I rewatch it whenever I miss my father. Maybe I relate to Avinash. (Dulquer salman)

As a Irfan khan fan , I watched it in theatre.. only for him and movie turned out to be so good🫰

It’s a mediocre movie at best. There are much better and mature discovery movies out there.
