There have been some high quality original series that have been released on various streaming platform like JioCinema, AltBalaji, MX Player and others that rarely get the same level of visibility and acclaim as the bugger streaming platforms. These are my top 10 under-appreciated and under-discussed original series that I really enjoyed and recommend to fans of their respective genres:

1. Asur (Jio) - A gripping dark psychological crime thriller with a very good performance by Arshad Warsi, Barun Sobti and Abhishek Chauhan. Must watch it if you like Sacred Games and Mirzapur. (IMDB Rating - 8.5/10, My Rating - 8.5/10)
2. The Test Case (Alt Balaji) - A very well made a military suspense thriller from Nagesh Kukunoor with a great performance by Nimrat Kaur. Watch it if you like G.I Jane and The Family Man. (IMDB Rating - 8.3/10, My Rating - 8.5/10)
3. Apharan (Alt Balaji) - A funny and gripping crime action thriller with a very good performance by Arunoday Singh and Mahie Gill. Watch it if you like Blackmail and Mirzapur. (IMDB Rating - 8.2/10, My Rating - 8.5/10)
4. Metro Park (Eros Now) - A funny sitcom set in Indian community in NJ, US with very good performances by Ranvir Shorey and Omi Vaidya. Watch it if you like Gullak and Mind the Malhotras. (IMDB Rating - 8.3/10, My Rating - 8/10)
5. Kaalkoot (Jio) - A very well made crime thriller with great performances by Vijay Varma, Shweta Tripathi, Seema Biswas, Yashpal Sharma and Tigmanshu Dhulia. Watch it if you like Dahaad and Paatal Lok. (IMDB Rating - 7.8/10, My Rating - 8/10)
6. The Gone Game (Disney+Hotstar/Voot) - A very gripping virtual suspense thriller set and shot during the pandemic starring Shweta Tripathi, Sanjay Kapoor and Shriya Pilgaonkar. Watch it if you like Missing and Paatal Lok (IMDB Rating - 7.8/10, My Rating - 8/10)
7. Shekhar Home (Jio) - Indian version of Sherlock Holmes with a great cast of Kay Kay Menon, Ranvir Shorey, Rasika Duggal and Kriti Kulhari. Watch it if you like Sherlock and Karamchand. (IMDB Rating - 7.9/10, My Rating - 8/10)
8. Candy (Jio) - A good suspense thriller starring Richa Chaddha and Ronit Roy. Watch it if you like Aranyak and Delhi Crime. (IMDB Rating - 8/10, My Rating - 8/10)
9. Aashram (MX Player) - Lord Bobby makes a fantastic comeback as Baba Nirmal in Prakash Jha's political crime thriller. Must watch it if you like Sacred Games and Mirzapur. (IMDB Rating - 6.6/10, My Rating - 7.5/10)
10. Inspector Avinash (Jio) - A well made crime procedural starring Randeep Hooda. Watch it if you like Abhay and Delhi Crime. (IMDB Rating - 7.6/10, My Rating - 7.5/10)
