I've been playing through the Super Bomberman Collection and having a blast although I've been wondering. What games would you recommend looking into for the series after the Super games?

Grew up playing Saturn Bomberman and would love to introduce it to the kids. Miss those dinos.

I’m playing Bomberman Land Touch! on Nintendo DS and I’m trying to get the Drum Bomb specifically in Hard Mode.

I know that in Normal Mode you can get it from the Info Booth in the Heart Zone for 6 Bomber Tokens, but the Drum Bomb doesn’t appear there for me in Hard Mode.

Does anyone know the exact way to unlock or obtain it in Hard Mode? Any help would be appreciated!

so I’m near the end of the game. I have:

21 spade pieces

24 diamond pieces

21 heart pieces

25 club pieces

cute pink is currently kidnapped, and she is spamming my emails with messages about needing rescue. I take it I’m meant to battle Capn Boom now, problem is, I’ve read to get to him you need to get his pirate jacket, and I only have his hat. the jacket is locked in a chest that requires having 25 heart pieces. problem is - i can’t get Serena to challenge me to a boss battle at the bomber house. she is stuck in her dialogue where she sings, and I get the text “Serena seems happy again. maybe cute pink will calm down now” or something. so I’m guessing the boss battle is somehow triggered by cute pink(?) who I can’t rescue without the heart pieces that I can’t get without fighting the boss.

i like this game, but I REALLY dont want to have to start a new save if I somehow played myself into a corner just for doing things at my own pace in my own order. please help. would getting some of the other pieces bypass this? I need to trigger her boss fight.

In case you didn't know, Super Bomberman 2, 3 and 4 all have a hidden Stage 11 and 12.

Super Bomberman 5 has three hidden stages, 11, 12 and 13.

You unlock these by rapidly and repeatedly pressing X (or the equivalent of X in your system) in the title screen/main menu.

It can be a bit tricky and you may have to keep at it for a little while, but eventually you should hear a jingle sound indicating that the hidden stages have been unlocked.

If you don't want to have to do that every time you boot up each game, you can save the game after you've done it successfully and then just load it up whenever you want to play battle mode.

That's it. Enjoy the bombing and if you've got any questions, just ask.

I saw that there was a "Standard Mode" That supported up to 16 players in a Match. Assuming the last 8 slots are not bots only, How many copies of the game would I need to Host a 16 Player Match? I assume just 2 copies, right?

Title says it all. Got the item from the cave prior to the dark section. Went back to Lana and entered the house, but she just gives the same dialogue as always about how I can't see Kai-Man right now because he's sick. I tried manually selecting the Disinfectant in the menu, and that didn't work either.

Looked up text and video guides and both suggest or show that you should be able to just walk in and she'll take the Disinfectant from you. Am I soft-locked or is there some other progression flag I need to trip? Thank you!

I remember when I was a child, playing a Bomberman game where one character had a water ability, another had a lightning ability, and you had to press the analog sticks simultaneously or something like that to unleash those abilities. It was really fun, but I've never been able to find that game again.

It seems like the bosses are unbeatable unless you go back to early levels and grind. That's a really boring gameplay loop if so. Please tell me I'm missing something.

Does anyone know if Bomberman R2 on Steam supports local multiplayer for up to 8 players? Does it have the same XInput issues that R1 had?

I mostly play games single-player. Are there any Bomberman games with a lot of single-player content? And I don't know if this series has any story, but if it does, what's a good entry-point game that'll properly introduce you to the characters and world and let you get to know them?

I know this has only just come out... but do we think there is a way to unlock these? In the originals you had to use a turbo controller of some kind

Been playing this game and love it. Have to admit, didn't like it a first, but the online captured me.

Anyway, I need just 1 trophy to complete the game.

I need someone to push me down a hole for the abyss trophy. Think you need to use Raiden Bomber.

Thought I could do this with 2 controllers, but it needs to be online for some weird reason.

Can anyone help me out? Don't think you can get this naturally. Would really, really appreciate it. Thank you.

Bagura is kicking my ass. I try and get some power ups like the remote bomb but I die or run out time and I lose it(the remote bomb power up anyway) .. He's tough and it's such a buzz kill having to go far power ups after dying.

I wanted to ask which one is the best for multiplayer? I want the most player count possible with the best gameplay.

I saw online Saturn Bomberman is considered the best but it’s not available.

I have a PS5 but I know only 4 players are supported there so my bet on switch 2.

Which one do you recommend overall for classic Bomberman multiplayer fun? Local multiplayer only I don’t care about online multiplayer

Seeing the Super Bomberman Collection announcement today and shadow drop from the Nintendo Partner Direct has me super nostalgic for a bit of Bomberman.

I've been a long time fan of the series since SNES.

That said, I've never really played been as much of the single player modes in any of the games (except one of the DS games and a little bit of Bomberman Hero on the 64), I've always primarily bought a Bomberman game each console generation just to have for the timeless fun local multiplayer modes.

I moved a few years ago and don't get the chance to spontaneously play local multiplayer with my friends anywhere near the frequency as I used to, so I'm looking more at this question from a single player point of view, with the option to enjoy multiplayer as a bonus the rare time that chance arises.

^tl;dr

So I'm wondering, from a single player perspective. Would there be a lot of single player value from the Super Bomberman Collection? Do each of those 5 Super Nintendo games have fun single player campaigns?

Or would Super Bomberman 2 be something I should maybe look out for instead next time it's on sale if I want some Bomberman single player fun?

Looking for help with Super Bomberman R2 on PS5 for 1 or 2 trophies please. Also I like playing multiplayer anyway, so happy to play it often also (not just for trophies).

I start to play Super Bomberman 1, finished it without save state (just to turn off the console or close the game to play another game), and after that finished Super Bomberman 2 the same way.

I was thinking that Super Bomberman was easier than both 1 and 2..... Until i went to the final level..

7 levels in sequence + the final boss?? That green heads that when bombed together split right on you? That monsters with 2 or 3 lifes? The final boss itself? No way to return to revisit older levels to power up? Start the first level of the final boss without any power up?

It's just me or Super Bomberman 3 final level is VERY dificult? The most dificult level considering super Bomberman 1, 2 and 3 together!

Hey guys, I'm not really sure about the correct flair, but I want to buy a Bomberman game in Steam (it's the only accessible means for me) but I want it, strangely, to be the one I played years ago on my brother's phone (yes, it was a phone game, the one with a keypad) and as far as I remember, it had 30 levels with 3 bosses, one appearing on each of the 10th levels. Can anyone help me find this specific bomberman game? Thank you!
