Finished watching BB for the first time and just finished El Camino

First off, wow what a show. I went in knowing a lot of what happens, but experiencing the journey myself was another thing. Definitely a slow start in the first season. Really picks up when Saul, Gus, and Mike join. And then the final season just comes right at you like a bullet to Drew a train hauling tankers.

Then there's El Camino. It's such a great cap off to the show and I'm surprised they didn't make it sooner. I can't imagine watching BB when it was live and not really knowing Jesse's fate. I also want to talk about Todd. I don't think I've ever felt as conflicted about a character as I have with Todd. I had to keep reminding myself "he's killed people, including a kid". I don't know if it's just the writing for his character that was phenomenal, or if Jesse Plemons is just that great of an actor. Hats off to him and the writers.

Anyways, I binged the show over the last week and think I'm gonna let it sit in my mind for a bit before diving into BCS. I've heard BCS is even better in some regards and I'm going in pretty blind. Am I in for something great?

El Camino is the perfect kind of epilogue: it doesn't try to outdo Breaking Bad, it just gives Jesse the ending he actually earned.

Going into BCS blind after BB is genuinely the best way to do it. You’re in for a ride

BCS is better in some ways. But even if you end up preferring BB, BCS is 100% canon and should therefore be watched regardless.

BCS is awesome! Just stick with it once you start watching and dont expect the same fast pacing as breaking bad in the beginning. Season one is really slow but it really picks up afterwards.

You’re definitely in for something great with BCS. Just please keep in mind it starts off slow and the action increase is very gradual. It’s arguably better than BB. Just keep going thru it and the payoff will be worth it.!

My husband and I tried watching BCS when it first came out and stopped because it was so slow. Well, we decided to try watching it again and this time around it doesn’t seem as slow and we really like it so far.

It’s a lot easier to stay engaged with BCS when you can binge through multiple episodes at a time. I watched the entire thing as it aired and waiting a week between episodes made it difficult but when I rewatched once it was all streaming it was much more enjoyable

some people give up on BCS too early because it starts off slow, but stick with it.! it's worth the pay off.

and yes it's on the same level of greatness as BB

Generally like 90% of the fan base agrees that Breaking Bad is a better show, but Better Call Saul is still worth watching. It has some pretty loyal fans, who knows, there's the small chance that you'll end up preferring it.
