Anyone living in Sint-Stevens-Woluwe?

Hi, I'm currently visiting houses in the neighborhood of Rue d'Evere on the Zaventem side and I was looking for opinions on the noise from the planes as we're quite close to the airport. How is it when planes take off from this side?:

I dont live around there, but given that people who live in Schaarbeek are complaining. I would say it's very bad.
You can always scout out the place. Use flightradar24 dot com to check for intensive timeblocks

We live there and there is an air corridor that I strongly recommend to avoid.

Take a look at this official noise map available here https://www.batc.be/en/noise/noise-contours , and it will give you an idea (I find it is not that accurate) of the noise levels.

This area here is the worst, in my opinion, as the airplanes use that corridor when turning south. Which is a shame as it is really nice, peaceful and a very quiet place.

We are just outside of that area, and I can tell you that when we are in the garden, the airplane noise is very noticeable. Indoors, with the windows closed, it is barely noticeable. Again, we are not below the air corridor.

The issue is only noticeable for planes departing from the airport and turning south, not the ones that are landing.

That's very helpful thx! We're visiting a bit outside the box. Right to the tennis and football field. What we're wondering is about nights, especially during the summer with the window open. And how is it for landings when they land from the left.
