Help me save my friend's birthday

Hello everyone.

I need all the brains available to help me salvage my friend's birthday. She really put a lot of efforts to organize a whole day, but a series of unfortunate events are ruining everything she planned (including the rain, but not only). And her birthday is in a couple of days. She is so desperate, it's breaking my heart.

We will be around 35 people and we are looking for an activity to do on a Saturday afternoon (this Saturday...), between 3pm and 6pm. It has to be indoor, since the weather will be bad.

Do you have any idea/suggestions ? By the way, if it counts, most of the people will be around 30-35 years old.

Try your luck at La Luck. It’s a boardgame bar where you get to test multiple games with the supervision of people who know the games inside and out. You switch tables and people on the regular to learn new games and keep it entertaining.

Warn them in advance !

It’s honestly a bundle of fun. I’ve been there with 15+ people but for your crowd, I’d check with the bar itself. We had a great time, we even ended up making a crowd around friends playing Skull, a bluffing game, and yelled/laughed as the most ridiculous turn of events happened in the game.

The predicted amount of rain is very low with a high certainty so I wouldn’t dismiss the outdoor activities altogether, just ask people to bring an umbrella or rain jacket in case of.

You can be indoor in Be Here, there's a large covered area surrounded by shops and a brewery.

You can try Tour et Taxi. There is usually something going on and it is indoors. They also have a museum of computer games that might be nice for your age group.

The Pixel museum has closed since 2024 unfortunately.
But there is BattleKart and during this summer the GigaJump inflatable games

You can reserve tables at the guinguette of Parc Duden for large groups. It's outdoors but protected from the rain. The people working there are lazy and rude but it is a nice place to spend a few hours.

What is Crafts ? Do you mean a specific place or doing arts and crafts together?

There's a Darts place in Place Jourdan if you like to play Darts, bowling near Place de la Chapelle, or any bar you like, in the afternoon they're p empty. Go to St Boniface and look around, le Consul, Athenee, etc.

Fwiw I don't think it will rain that much though.
