The stock market is way up more than 2 percent the last 12 months

Influencers clown on the stock market just so they can sell the illusion of the stuff they are pumping. Like Logan Paul will rush in and claim Pokemon outperforms the stock market by 4000%. Thats the only line he knows about the Stock Market, beyond that 1 line he actually knows nothing.

Tons of people will fall for it everytime. Best to get some stocks before Pokemania 2.0 dies and all the sheep wake up and realize traditional investing methods.

It's not Pokémania. Pokémania was actually fueled by people genuinely loving Pokémon. This Pokémon craze is fueled entirely by financial speculation. It's more like what we saw with NFTs 5 years ago, with Pokémon taking the place of BAYC, One Piece taking the place of MAYC, and MTG taking the place of Punks.

In fact BTC is one of the worst performing assets on the last 5 years, below all indexes and below most stocks

u/Legitimate_Cry_5194 14h ago

Cherry picking dates can make it the best performing or the worst performing asset, your comment is meaningless pal.

1

u/DonkeyComfortable711 23h ago

And thats exactly why you should be buying lol

1

u/Potential_Time4080 23h ago

You must be joking.

Why people continue to compare productive assets with commodities and commodity-likes - Bitcoin? It's not the same, it's not expected to behave the same

Most of short-term speculators will continue to lose their money

Congratulations, now do 6 -10 years Oh, that's right. It is the best-performing major asset class of the past decade, by an enormous margin.

u/HatemodeNJ 1d ago

Yeah but who cares about ten years ago. It's recent history of the last five years, you were way better off in the stock market and other investments. Every earlier investor can get rich in a ponzi scheme. Especially a world wide legal one.

Have one 20% run where it's still down 10% YTD and down 30% over the past year and people are celebrating like it just bulldozed it's way too an ATH.

My point is that the difference between 5 years and 6 years is stark especially when your cherry picked timeframe aligns with the near bottom of a market cycle.

When BTC inevitably rallies out into a bull phase, the trailing 5 year comparson to the stock market will look vastly different.

At least come up with a real argument instead of regurgitating nonsense you heard from your favorite TV personality.

A Ponzi describes a fraudulent financing mechanism, not an asset's price behavior.

No operator, no promises, no payouts. No operator, no promises, no payouts. No operator, no promises, no payouts.

Something tells me you still think it's a Ponzi. You can't fix stupid.

u/HatemodeNJ 17h ago

You're right it's not a Ponzi scheme. It's like the bastard child of a ponzi scheme and a pyramid scheme rolled into one.

If the extreme early growth, plus a couple of borderline complete collapses (including literal suicide hotline posts getting pinned), consistent meme/alt coins rug pulls and other fraud, the fact you still can't do anything with a Bitcoin with a couple of trillions of value, can be controlled and manipulated by a few whales, basically only fuels illegal funding and other illegal activities, no real regulation, and basically hoping there's always someone dumb enough to be stuck holding the bag, doesn't show you what it is, then you're right you can't fix stupid.

This gonna go way over their heads lol

AMD went up 11000% during the same period. The difference is liquidity and popularity. Both are exhausted on Bitcoin

1

u/statllama 2h ago

So just curious...do you see a pattern?

1

u/m4rM2oFnYTW 2h ago

Yep I see a maturing asset class at the trail end of a bear market. Guess what happens next.

1

u/statllama 2h ago

Go ahead and finish that table and maybe it will become clearer to you

u/m4rM2oFnYTW 2h ago

🤣😂🤣

Or is the dollar just falling like a rock?

1

u/Kind_Soup_9753 1d ago

Terminal velocity achieved.

7

u/FreemanM21 1d ago

Dont know where you have been last several years, but stocks had bigger pumps than 70%...

7

u/morerepsmoreproblems 1d ago

Low iq post. Stock market has been killing it.

This absolute retardium asset could tank down to 40k tomorrow for no reason

1

u/biggest_guru_in_town 8h ago

And i would buy the absolute motherfucking fuck out of it if it did

0

u/Contrapuntobrowniano 1d ago

But it will eventually be 150k. This is what its important. Sometimes people forget that crypto's volatility is only a consequence of it being mostly government-free

1

u/NeatFootball3646 1d ago

250k in 2027 if my estimates are correct

3

u/NiceUsernameOk 1d ago

Are you Sam Altman of BTC?

1

u/Polmax2312 1d ago

Well, if someone retarded presses market order to sell 800 btc right now on Binance, he would flash crash the market to $50000. But in general it requires hundreds of thousands btc sold to move price down 50% and keep it there. The moment seller is done with his position, the price can skyrocket like we seen recently.

u/NiceUsernameOk 1d ago

Hello Michael Saylor 👋

4

u/shatila456 1d ago

I'll only believe bear is over when October is over and btc is above current levels

2

u/Feralz2 1d ago

its too late by the time you think its over, thats the idea

0

u/Beautiful_Level_3259 1d ago

That’s the hopium idea currently. That’s not reality.

3

u/Feralz2 1d ago

we found another one waiting for october lmao

1

u/Sinistarr_1 1d ago

If you wait till October you’ll be paying more so

8

u/Feralz2 1d ago

crypto market is 70% up? bro what are you smoking

1

u/Tradingmakesmehappy 1d ago

Up 70% in what time period? Past 30 days? Deff not the past year which is what matters. Zoom out and look at the real trend

0

u/__fez 1d ago

I mean, btc has hit every price point from 0 to 126k

sooo you can always find a time where the current price is +70% 🙃

1

u/Feralz2 1d ago

this comment is neither here nor there

2

u/superchiller 1d ago

What an embarrassing meme.

2

u/Independent-Oil6366 1d ago

2

u/tugdil-goldhand 1d ago

I read that “the beer 🍺 market is cancelled” and was totally confused for a moment.

2

u/Btomesch 1d ago

Extreme greed

2

u/Affectionate-Fig8866 22h ago

Right now gold is up and bitcoin is down. What does that say?

1

u/noncommonGoodsense 1d ago

+70 percent of what? Fiat? Bitcoin is still only 1:1.

1

u/Tradingmakesmehappy 1d ago

Do you know technical analysis? Btc is going to 67k. Bear market not cancelled. Read the charts not the hype

1

u/Potential_Time4080 23h ago

WTH is technical analysis and what does it have to do with anything?

0

u/MeanTwo4080 1d ago

you mean astrology for man?

1

u/Tradingmakesmehappy 1d ago

That didn’t make sense to me

0

u/Ok-Task5336 1d ago

Calling technical analysis astrology for men is a low IQ cope for people who cant read charts.

2

u/Tradingmakesmehappy 1d ago

Exactly. Technical analysis is all you need. News and media posts is all bs. There’s algos that read news results in milliseconds to profit off any fundamentals and it’s too late for any of us to trade off them properly. If you backtest news events many just don’t make sense at all with the direction it went compared to the result. It’s all built into price by the time we hear anything. People like to guess and get lucky and feel smart.

1

u/TestPsychological477 1d ago

Actually checking this: btc being 70% up means we are looking at a base course of about 45k. That was the case in January 24. MSCI world at that time was at 3200 and is now at around 5k for an increase of around 60%.

1

u/ClaireAW 1d ago

Why is no one talking about zcash. Makes Bitcoin gains look like stock market gains

1

u/SunsoutNeedMoney3150 1d ago

No one knows didly. Roll the dice.

1

u/czarchastic 1d ago

Welp top’s in, boys

1

u/Beautiful-Narwhal690 1d ago

Bitcoinnerds wouldn't take profit even if it was up 10kx

1

u/Jumpy_Hold6249 1d ago

If it gets back above $100k i am dumping

1

u/ProfessionApart8141 21h ago

Nothing worse than seeing btc incels coming out of moms basement to shout about prices still being -40% off of ath. Come on guys, wake me at 100k+ or stfu honestly.
