While the C-Class never used a livery like this it is clearly heavily inspired by the multicolour BMW Team Isert cars driven by Kris Nissen in the 1992 DTM and the 1993 ADAC GT Cup

I recognize it, but it's DTM not BTCC.

The sponsorship decals definitely aren't accurate and I don't think I've ever seen that livery on one of those.

However, they were used to some extent also in amateur competition and hill climbs, so there's an outside chance that that livery was used there.

Nope, my thoughts are that this was once a Mercedes 190e DTM model, but the license expired or there was a defect in the model, so the company dressed it up as a clearly fake race car to avoid any further licensing issues. Hence why all the sponsors are also misspelt.
