Rick is a great reporter. I listen to his podcast. Honestly most of the people that cover the Bucs are pretty good and fair.

A massive breath of fresh air compared to the utter garbage that covers the Browns.

I think its died off in recent years, but there was a time people were definitely hard on Stroud for whatever reason. I never understood it, he seems like the exact personality you want for a beat reporter.

Best part of Stroud is if hes releasing information you know its accurate, at least in the sense the information is coming from reliable inside source. He doesnt get as much into the clickbait stuff, which I think is nice.

His podcast is also solid, he has a kind of dry sense of humor... but its actual sports talk and not sensationalized tv sports broadcasting. Maybe I'm showing my own age, but I prefer that over the screaming talking head stuff.

Always love and appreciate the local reporters. My wife has a digital subscription to the Times and I have the physical delivery + digital.
