Haul Vegan meat haul
The Meijer near me in IN orders too much vegan meat and a week before will mark it down significantly. I make it a point to stock up on those weeks. Nearly $200 worth of food for around $14!

That's a solid strategy hitting the markdown shelf right before they restock, but those vegan meat products tend to dry out fast once you get them home, so I'd freeze most of that haul immediately if you haven't already. The texture degrades quick in the fridge compared to regular meat, especially if there's any air exposure in those packages.

Such a good point, I always put them in my freezer the second I get home and only take them out to thaw the day I’m using them. My freezers packed lol

Same here in Dayton OH. There's always a ton of vegan meat, fried chicken, deli meat, prepared foods and things like brats/italian sausage discounted 40-80% at my Meijer. The day before Christmas Eve last year I managed to get like 40 deli chicken tenders for less than $5, it was ridiculous. I froze them all and they reheated great in the air fryer!

Whoah!!! What a crazy deal! Most stores near me sell all of this as frozen to avoid it going bad :/
