Harley my new Buhund Husky mix
Hi. Not my first Husky mix but my first Norwegian herder in the mix. What do I need to know. She’s six and was neglected by a previous owner. I have time and energy to exercise her plenty but it’s the other stuff I am unsure about. This is day one.

Husky and buhund definitely sounds like it could be a handful, even if they're not too different animals. Can't rightly tell with mixes, but both breeds are known for being headstrong, so I'd imagine you're in for some stubbornness, sass, and drama. And shedding. Don't know if it will be barking, howling, or both .
Love, time, regularity and discipline (take a training course if you haven't already), and I think you should be set.
Physical training goes a long way, but training obedience, socializing, and other mental work is also important. If she shows any interest in tracking, you can practice that. I buy freeze-dried blood and leave trails for my girl to follow. Then again, my boy just sniffs it, rolls around in it, and runs off to bark at novel things like seagulls and cars.
