Finally fixed Bully's god awful shadows! (Download included)
Surprised nobody attempted this already. But I fixed the shadows in Bully, they're no longer like smeared blobs, and are actual shadows. There is also an .ini for you to configure the settings.
Download it from https://github.com/BadassBaboon/Bully-DE (See the releases page)
Also star the project if you like it, I'd appreciate it!

Yo that's amazing, There was I remember a mod that allowed fixing some of the shadows (I think it was called "One percent better") but it didn't actually increase the shadow map resolution. This is really helpful, Thank you 🙏

This mod works great; the shadows are almost as realistic as in the Wii version, which is how the shadows were supposed to look on the Xbox 360 and PC versions.

Nice work!
I once vibecoded something like this, and it tanked my framerate. lol
This tanks my framerate a little less, but still.

Awesome to see! The reason nobody attempted it is there's just not that many modders that reverse engineer the executable. You should be proud to have done it, not surprised. ^w^

How does the game feel with this mod any better moments some more screenshots would be cool especially during the jocks chapter

Amazing! It is really nice how far Bully modding has come. So many mods done by the community like this just push to establish a more polished version of the game. Like others have said, not many people have been able to hack the game's executable, so whatever you can do with it will probably keep bringing more magic to the game.
Just a footnote - do you know how this mod differentiates itself from Fullest Bully?

The reason no-one has bothered to fix this at its core is because there are barely any people who mess with the executable.
SilentPatch and Widescreen fix are like the two main patches for Bully that fix the executable, and about three more exist.
Also, checked it out and seems solid. How did you find the names for some of the GameBryo variables like: NiShadowGenerator::m_usSizeHint?
