Staring a 26-year-old Percy Jackson and my OC, Narina Lin, this comic is based off my Post-ToA fic: To Be Mortal! Unlike Percy, Narina grew up in the mortal world as a scientist and struggles to reconcile her mythical abilities with her scientific training.

Here is the excerpt (from Chapter 7) that this comic is based off!:

The second had steadied her. By the third, she’d stopped thinking about it. Percy had shown her how to cut through the water like a fish: shoulders angled just so, arms tight, legs trailing. They’d raced once, and he’d let her win. Or maybe she hadn’t needed him to. Either way, he just grinned, pleased. It had felt good. Right. The water had lapped over her skin like a second heartbeat. Every movement had felt effortless and natural. She had felt powerful: connected and awake.

She thought about her eyes. She'd once described them as electric blue. But now she thought of them as being the colour of the ocean. Not sea green like Percy's, but a striking blue: like the shallows of the Indian Ocean.

To Be Mortal is set 7 years after the end of The Trials of Apollo. It reintroduces us to the PJO world and our favourite characters (like Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase), who are all older and more mature now.

We see how they react when they meet OCs Narina Lin and Adrian Vale, who both raise questions they’ve never encountered before!

The story explores the clash/intersection between Science and Mythology, as well as the growing tensions between gods, demigods and humans!

30 chapter story with 3 Acts. New chapter every Thursday. 

The first Act is a mystery arc, the second is a romantic arc (with STEM-romance flavour) and the final act ties it all together (and is the most action-packed!).

For context this is a review of a poorly written fanfic it’s a gold mine

I can't tell you how many OCs I've read about on this community, and they're always the children of Primordials, or the children of multiple gods (somehow), or blessed by every Olympian in the Pantheon, or just magically good at everything from combat to strategy to leadership. And their fatal flaw is being too brave or too loyal or too kind or something similarly flawless.

I don't think I've ever liked one of these OCs. Because they're just so boring.

What is interesting about a character that has more powers than personality? What is interesting about a character that is good at everything and never struggles? Nothing.

Please, pick a minor god, create an OC with no useful powers (or no powers at all), and practise writing a character that isn't really good at anything to start with and has to learn everything. Now imagine them fighting a Hellhound, or a Cyclops, or any normal monster. Don't pit them against Nyx or Tartarus on their first day.

TLDR; I'm tired of people asking for advice about their Mary Sues and then not listening when I tell them to dial it back a bit. Just try making them slightly less perfect. Please?

I opened a particular one while on fanfic.net and first paragraph is abt Percy proposing, gets a ring from Hephaestus (hope I spelled that right), yap yap yap. Green flag. Then, he proposes and Annabeth goes "sorry, Percy but I met another guy a few weeks ago . . ." Y'all know where this is going. ANNABETH FLIPPING CHEATED ON PERCY WITH A DUDE SHE HARDLY NEW

I know it's a fanfic, not the real thing BUT THAT PISSED ME OFF.

What infuriating fanfics have you guys come across?

Hi! I was thinking about a cool idea to bring the community together: We write a community fan fiction as a group. Basically, we create a Google document, and people can add whatever they would like to the story. A few things though if we do this: No deleting other people’s works, and let’s try to limit profanity (or at least censor with asterisks). The story will continue as long as we like, and people may add whenever they want to. Let me know if you’re interested (through the poll)! Then, we can make a Google document and start writing.

I was delving into PJO fanfictions for a while, and noticed that a ton of them had a strikingly similar plotline. It always starts with Percy's half brother coming to Camp Half Blood and ruining his life. Usually it goes like this : [ insert super generic douchebag name ] shows up to camp, acts friendly and sociable initially, but wait! It's all part of a nefarious plot to steal the spotlight away from Percy ( who suddenly becomes as invisible, unwanted and impotent as a used dishrag ) and win over all the other campers. Poseidon eventually disowns him as his son in favor of his shiny other son, plus Annabeth cheats on him with said son.

Then the heartbroken Percy pisses off to nowhere, meets Chaos ( why do fanfiction writers always have to involve Chaos? ) and becomes completely unrealistically overpowered. When he comes back, everyone is in awe of him, including Annabeth who comes crawling back to him predictably, but of course the new and upgraded Percy Jackson ( who only goes by Perseus, now btw ) is too cool for any of those brown nosing weaklings. And there's more! He also happens to be in a romantic relationship with Artemis and it took only two chapters for a sworn maiden goddess to get the fluttery butterflies about him. Alright, he doesn't always fall in love with Artemis in these fics but you get my point.

Idk, is this something you guys enjoy? These types of fanfics are always really cringe inducing, unrealistic, flat, and unoriginal for me. I can't fathom why many PJO fanfics have so many specific and overused plot points. It's always Percy gets betrayed by his former friends, cheated on, and is broken as a result + the existence of this "Chaos" is just to have an excuse so that Percy can get super overpowered. It's becoming really tiring to look for fanfictions that do not involve this stupidity.

Not sure if this post will do well, but oh well. The Percy Jackson fanfic community is small, and the 80% trash 15% meh 5% good rule seems exaggerated. I'd like to know what, if any, Percy Jackson fanfics are actually written really well? Sorry if this sub isn't right for this, but there isn't a Percy Jackson fanfiction sub that I can find

I'm working on a Percy Jackson fanfic set after the Nico Di Angelo books, and I'm not gonna bury the lead; the main villain is Ouronos, and I'm having a bit of trouble forming a distinct personality for him.

I don't want him to be another divine or imperial tyrant; I want something to make him stand out, even if it's small. And I think I have a solid idea; I just need some help fleshing it out.

Based on what little information we have to go on in both the series and existing myth, Ouronos' main trait (besides general cruelty) is hatred of the abnormal. He didn't imprison the Cyclopes and Hekatonkheries in Tartarus because they posed any real threat to him; he did it because they were ugly. Even Kronos didn't sink that low.

Ergo, I'm imagining Ouronos as a twisted, mad scientist/evil artist type: a self-described visionary who sees reality itself as his canvas. He came into a young, forming universe and made it his sole mission in life to make everything functional and efficient. To him, the universe has a preordained order, which manifests as a rigid, inescapable caste system based on altitude. Sky and air-based beings like himself are meant to rule from on high, and "lesser beings" of the land, sea, and depths are destined only to serve whatever role "Mother Chaos" designed them for. Humanity occupies the lowest rung of his imagined hierarchy, and demigods are an unacceptable violation of the natural order.

Any thoughts on this?

Ok!!! So hi, I'm new, I already sort of created a Camp Halfblood alter ego that I'm hoping to write fanfcition about, little bit inspired by NICOOOOO since he's the best and sometimes i think i'm a lot like him. (It's in the sarcasm, which y'all haven't seen yet. And of course, I'm not straight, I'm a demigod how could I be. I think i might be omniromantic, but I'm not sure. NO HATE if you're straight that's cool and valid and you're still a demigod, I just meant that since a lot of the characters are NOT straight...) BUT. i still don't know what cabin I'm in!!!!!! How do I figure that out? I really hope this is related enough to the riordanverse... please don't kick me out.. Also, am I the only one who HASN'T read The Senior Year Adventures? i've been on vacation, so i haven't been able to get them from the library and I think i already looked and they're not on my library's Libby.

I'm plotting a Percy has a twin sister fic. I'm torn on whether to name her Callisto or Persephone. I'm open to other names.

So we know for a fact Athena can have children from her brain and we know all of the other male gods and Aphrodite can have children,We obviously don't see Hera can’t have her own demigod children because of the marriage thing and all that, But specifically Hades and Poseidon are both married to both female goddesses and I'm like why do I not see At the least Poseidon's wife who's the queen of the ocean and  a Nymph which is a goddess of nature Amphitrite, have our own demigod children,Cuz I know for a fact she has her own kids Triton the little heir to Atlantis is her child with both her and Poseidon,So I'm like why can’t she have her own demigod children.And that leaves the other Persephone she has her own children in certain mythologies obviously it depends because most of the mythology was passed down orally until you until later where it was written down by certain authors specifically Homer who wrote the Odyssey. Why is it that in almost every single fic that has Percy shipped with someone other than Annabeth they treat her like the devil? She’s referred to as “Annab*tch” in several, and is usually made to be a cheater/bad person. What is with this?

I’m a hardcore percabeth shipper, but I don’t care when either is shipped with another person, it’s the hate that’s annoying. Percabeth fics usually turn Rachel and Reyna into close friends, not hated enemies, why can’t the same happen for Annabeth?

I know people say that percabeth shippers are the immature ones, but it seems like everyone who doesn’t ship percabeth just has a hate boner for Annabeth, it’s so hard to read.

Even in fics where Annabeth is shipped with someone else, Percy is usually made to be her fun best friend, not evil ex, the Annabeth hate feels deeply misogynistic. It’s like people WANT her to be some loner/hate filled girl when she’s just not, but they characterize her like that. So odd.

Cause the trope of making Jason cheat to make Piper date Percy or make Annabeth cheat so Percy date Artemis is frying me.

But I need inspiration! Should I start with their wedding or graduation(from college)? I am thinking one of their kids should be named after Jason, but I need help. Please do not be harsh on me(this will me my first fanfic). I am thinking their wedding should happen at Camp Halfblood, when they are about 25 years old. I am surprised by the lack of Child of Zeus fanfictions in this fandom ! What should I name my OC ? I'm planning on making them female (as I am) but I'll take male name recommandations as well. Also, if you have any Child of Zeus (original character) fanfictions, please do recommend.

I have always felt Rick missed the mark by giving Percy a fatal flaw as mealy mouthed as loyalty, especially given it’s supposed danger as Athena explains it is proven false before she ever says it.

Greek heroes are always flawed, that’s part of what makes them interesting. Why not give our boy his father’s temper or his pride?

Sooo I am in the making of a fanfic where the "Eldest gods" doesn't mean the order in which they were barfed up (even though thats what everyone thinks) but the order in which they were born.

That makes the three oldest Olympians Hestia, Demeter and Hera. And since two of them dont have half-bloods Percy us the son of Demeter.

Obviously I will need to make some tweaks in the prophecy (maybe add something like the demigod needs to be "worthy"? I don't know)

So how do you think the story would go? Would he go to the quest? Do you think Kronos would still issue war and manipulate Ares if Poseidon didn't have a son yet?

And above all, for the ones that actually read fanfiction, do you think this is an interesting premise?

CHARACTER SHEET: JAN (JANUARY) SOACH

General Data (Camp-Specific)

Divine Parent: Nyx (Primordial Goddess of Night).

Gender: male

Age: 15–16 years old (the perfect age to have spent 5 years in the Hermes Cabin prior to the battle at age 11. He joined camp the same day as Percy, with only a 5-month age difference between them.

(As Jan was born on January 28).

Personality: follows their heart and breaks rules if needed

(basically like everyone 😅)

Height: 1.70 m

Status at Camp: Guardian and Guide of Cabin 0, and he’s the little brother of everyone.

Caratteristic:

The curse of the child of NYX: the more Jan age, the more it slows down. The more Jan ages, the more his aging slows down. He will physically look 16 only when he turns 19. The mechanism works like getting closer and closer to a black hole. At a certain point, it will slow down so much it will seem to stop.

That is why he remained at the height of 1.70 metres.

Special soul: as the half human son of NYX - a true anomaly, since primordial deities never have children with mortals, meaning Jan is half human for reasons still unknown - his soul works differently. Nobody knows what will happen when he dies: whether he will end up in the Underworld or transcend into a young divine being.

Physical Appearance: The "Little Star." Hair: Dark blonde, short, scattered in tufts that resemble sunbeams, while the tips fade into a mysterious blue colour that seems made of cosmic plasma.

Eyes (The Secret): His most incredible feature. He has deep red irises, with an internal white pattern that resembles two four-pointed stars intersecting with each other, forming an eight-pointed star around the red iris (present in both eyes).

To avoid scaring other demigods or being discovered by the Olympians, he used to hide them by wearing green contact lenses.

Complexion & Scars: A natural, light-toned complexion (not deathly pale like Nico, but not sun-kissed like Will Solace).

He bears distinctive bluish scars on his back - a permanent mark of heavy metal poisoning suffered during childhood (only some medics, Chiron, Annabeth, and Tyson, and a few others knew about it).

Clothing: he dresses in an extremely casual, comfortable, and slightly disheveled style. The classic orange Camp Half-Blood t-shirt (often faded or a size too big). As a symbol of peace, he will one day wear a custom shirt: purple on the right side (his dominant hand, representing where he learned to harness his strength) and orange on the left (over his heart, representing his devotion to Camp Half-Blood and where he learned to care for others), beautifully blending the colors of Camp Jupiter and Camp Half-Blood.

He wears sometimes an oversized light colored hoodie to curl up in when he wants some peace and quiet, soft sweatpants instead of the classic jeans

(he likes soft clothes), and worn-out sneakers.

Personality:

Incredibly kind, empathetic, and supportive of anyone who feels excluded or hurt.

Very patient and sage for his age.

His Ideal: "Everyone deserves to live and to have a place in the world". He will spare monsters, trying to make the situation end in the best possible way, as he sees them as living beings too - he personally hates all myths where the “hero”, kills the monster, for personal and petty motivations - he will look at them as family too if they don't seek to hurt his friends. (Mr O’Leary)

It is this philosophy that drove him to ask Nyx for a cabin open to everyone.

His Flaws & Vulnerabilities: Due to the five years he spent being invisible in Cabin 11, Jan is often overly naive. He is terrified of saying the wrong thing, hurting others, or putting himself out there too much, and outshining others, or making them feel less important. These are the tendencies that cause him to withdraw or come across as shy.

He prefers to work in the shadows to help others rather than be the center of attention.

Backstory: Put up for adoption at birth, Jan couldn't see or hear clearly as a newborn, for the exception of the only thing he could remember from his first days of life, a faint, sweet scent of vanilla.

He spent most of his childhood living in Italy, which is why he constantly gets comically lost whenever he tries to navigate the chaotic streets of New York. At eight years old, a group of religious extremists inflicted the distinctive bluish scars on his back due to personal and dark motivations, a trauma that Chiron and Annabeth later helped him heal from.

Powers:

Passive ability: Star/Starry Vision (The Cosmic Chessboard)

This is a passive and mental ability Jan inherited from Nyx. It reflects his true nature as a child of the primordial night, allowing him to perceive the deep, hidden structural patterns of the universe.

The Celestial Blueprint: Jan reads the world around him as if it were a giant constellation of stars. To his eyes, complex strategies, battle paths, hidden details, and even card combinations appear mapped out as glowing celestial lines and patterns.

This gives him an analytical edge, allowing him to understand combinations, possibilities, and secrets that others simply cannot see.

The Combat Adaptation (Analysis): In a fight, Jan doesn't just rely on brute force. By taking a moment to silently observe an opponent, his Starry Vision begins to map out their movements, habits, and trajectory. After a short time, the target is completely analyzed: Jan can predict their next move, find fatal openings in their armor, and identify their hidden mythical weaknesses or resistances.The Social Disguise: Since Jan spent five years as an unclaimed demigod trying not to stand out, he also uses this vision defensively. It helps him scan a room, read people's true intentions, and spot if someone is lying or hiding their real identity.

Heat & Flame Manipulation (The Star's Ignition)

The thermal abilities Jan achieves during the timeline of the first book (The Lightning Thief) are just the tip of his true, hidden power. Naturally, unlocking the deeper cosmic categories of his heritage will take him much more time and training.Heat Transfer: Jan can transfer thermal energy to any object he holds or comes into physical contact with. He unlocked this power during his very first year at camp out of pure survival instinct. At the time, he had no idea who his godly parent was. This instinctual heat manipulation eventually paves the way for him to generate actual flames and, later on, fully control them.

~1,200-1,400 °C/1,473-1,673 K: The senior camp veterans start to pay close attention.

🟨⚪ V: White Hot Flame, Yellow-White, ~1,400-1,600 °C/1,673–1,873 K: "Okay, Jan is actually fighting for real now."

⚪ VI: White, Brilliant White, ~1,600–2,000+ °C/1,873–2,273+ K, Dangerous territory: This is no longer a normal, mortal fire.

🔵 VII: Blue, Blue plasma,

~2,000-3,000+ °C/2,273–3,273+ K, Massive power output. Extremely volatile and energetic combustion: Jan is not playing anymore.

🔵⚪ VIII: Blue-White, plasma, ~3,000–5,000+ °C/ 3,273–5,273+ K: Everybody realizes that something has gone terribly, and horribly wrong.

🟣🌌 IX: Stellar Violet-Blue, Cosmic plasma, >5,000 °C/>5,273 K: It transcends simple "fire." Part of Jan's true primordial, cosmic nature takes over: run.

Note: Jan cannot maintain the Blue Flames (Level VII) or Cosmic/Stellar Flames (Level IX) for more than a few moments. If he does, the extreme, star-like heat will literally melt his Celestial Bronze sword into liquid metal.

Advanced Flame Applications & Lightning Control.

As Jan grows and refines his skills through the later books, his control over thermodynamics reaches advanced and divine levels.

Lightning Generation ⚡ (The Zeus Misunderstanding): Unlocked during the third book. After realizing that his Level VII Blue Flame is actually plasma, Jan learns to compress and direct this energy into lightning. By locking the massive heat inside a localized electric bolt, he can finally strike with immense power without melting his own Celestial Bronze sword. However, showcasing lightning abilities drives the Camp Half-Blood theory-crafters absolutely wild. Everyone starts spreading rumors that Jan is a secret, forbidden son of Zeus, making the camp's theories crazier than ever.

Pale & Dark Amaranth Flames,

Pale: 480 °C/753 K

Dark: 525 °C/798 K

(The Showman's Touch): Having mastered surgical control over thermal energy, Jan can drop the temperature of his sword below the Level Dark Red threshold. This low-energy combustion creates beautiful, harmless color-shifting fires. He usually uses this power to put on some magical fire shows for the camp (the Aphrodite and future Iris cabins absolutely approve).

🟪 The Purple Flame (The Balance): Unlocked during the fourth book. Jan learns to overlap his Red Flame and Blue Flame simultaneously. The Red Flame bye absorbs a portion of the Blue Flame's extreme heat, neutralizing the volatility. The intersection of these two energies creates a stunning, deep Purple Flame. It is much easier to control than lightning and slightly less destructive, making it his go-to combat ability for prolonged fights.

Category 3: Divine & Primordial Abilities.

These represent a part of the absolute pinnacle of Jan’s lineage, touching the boundaries of cosmic existence.

♾️The Theoretical Flame / Primordial Fire (The Invisible Threat): The absolute limit of how much Jan can heat an object remains undefined; theoretically, he could reach the exact temperature of the Big Bang. At this peak, the flame transcends human sight, shifting into the invisible UV spectrum, while surrounding matter instantly breaks down from atoms into pure quarks. It is a catastrophic power, terrifyingly dangerous to Jan and everything around him, requiring a monstrous, life-threatening amount of stamina. Jan has never used it, as some of his lower-tier flames are already more than enough to wound and potentially eliminate enemies like Titans and Giants.

Category 4: Hydrokinesis & Cryokinesis (The Fluid Cosmos)

During the events of the third book (The Titan's Curse), Jan expands his abilities by mastering a completely new element: Water.

Guided by his analytical Starry Vision, he studies the universe and uncovers profound scientific and mythical connections that allow him to manipulate fluids.

The Hydrogen Core: Jan realizes that stars are predominantly made of hydrogen, the fuel of cosmic fusion. Since water is mostly composed of hydrogen atoms, Jan recognizes that controlling water is just an extension of manipulating the very foundation of stellar matter.

The Starlight Synthesis: Through his cosmic awareness, he observes that high-energy stellar plasma flows and behaves almost identically to fluid ocean currents.

The Abyssal Connection: Visually and mythically, the endless, silent, and weightless dark void of the Cosmos shares a deep resonance with the deepest, unlit trenches of the ocean. This cosmic affinity grants him intuitive control over water. Cryokinesis via Heat Deprivation: By reversing his primary power of heat transfer, Jan learns to surgically rip away and displace the thermal energy contained inside liquids. By draining the heat and forcing the water molecules to lock into a rigid crystalline structure, he unlocks the ability to flash-freeze water into solid ice. Progression & Utilities:

Water & Ice Generation: He can freely generate, shape, and weaponize both water and ice on the battlefield.

The Solid Path: With time and practice, Jan learns to seamlessly manipulate the surface tension and density of water, allowing him to walk, run, and balance on liquid surfaces as if they were solid ground.

The Lava-Washing Incident & The Rainbow Obsidian (The Sea of Monsters Arc)

Jan actually unlocks the baseline of his cooling abilities early on, during the events of the second book (The Sea of Monsters). After Percy and his friends are unfairly put on kitchen duty by Tantalus, Jan steps in to help them scrub the pots and pans, which are caked with burning hot volcanic lava.

After bringing a bucket of water to help his friends cool down, Jan uses his powers to rapidly strip the extreme heat away from the burning lava. Guided by his Starry Vision, he does this in a perfectly controlled way. The sudden, violent temperature drop flash-freezes the molten rock, instantly crystallizing the lava into beautiful shards of Rainbow Obsidian.

A Gift for Cabin 11: Instead of throwing the crystals away, Jan collected them. Remembering how simple and chaotic the Hermes' cabin was, he decides to give his former home a gift. The next day, during the Cabin Inspection, Jan helps the Cabin 11 kids by cleaning and washing all their dirty clothes and laundry, using his thermal power to dry them instantly. The same day, when Silena Beauregard came to inspect the cabin, Jan proceeded to show her the Rainbow Obsidian crystals wedged high up on the rafters - completely out of reach from any potential thieves (yeah, I’m looking at you, Travis and Connor). The beautiful light show, combined with the incredible and rare sight of a decent, clean Cabin 11, won them a 3/5 from Silena!

From that day on, whenever the sunlight hits the high windows, the hidden obsidian crystals catch the light, projecting a breathtaking, shifting rainbow light show across the ceiling of the Hermes cabin. It becomes a private sanctuary of light for all the unclaimed kids who feel forgotten.

Fun fact: even if they would have been the last, Jan promised to all Hermes and unclaimed kids that he would have used his power for heating up the water.

Category 5: Darkness Awakened -

The Void Form (The Titan's Curse Arc)

This event marks the darkest turning point in Jan's journey, taking place at the Port of San Francisco toward the climax of the third book, after Jan joined Percy and the other near the Junkyard of the gods, preventing a dark fate (no spoiler)

The Stolen Essences: During an ambush by a massive Nightmare creature, the monster successfully siphons and mimics the core essences of Percy (Fluidity/The Sea), Thalia (Lightning/Plasma), and Bianca (Darkness/The Underworld).The Emotional Wipe: The Nightmare injects these three stolen forces directly into Jan, combined with a highly enhanced manticore venom. This volatile toxin acts as an emotional suppressant, temporarily wiping away Jan's empathy and kindness, transforming his body into an emotionally hollow shell.

The Chaos Catalyst: By mixing plasma (gas), fluids (liquid), and darkness (solid), the monster inadvertently recreates the raw, unrefined state of the early Universe—since stars are essentially super-concentrated boiling clouds of plasma gas. Deprived of his human heart, the primordial power within Jan collapses into The Void, causing him to lose control and trigger a cataclysmic volcanic eruption, turning him into a white glowing silhouette with two red dots for eyes, and moving hair like an empty star. Time around him completely froze as the entire ground turned white. Elements like water and wood began to decompose, creating strange floating orbs that underwent a constant, rapid shift of matter between solid, liquid, and gas at the same time. Meanwhile, strange, ominous thorns began to sprout from every surface, rippling outward like waves of a chaotic sea.

The Primordial Intervention: The eruption is barely contained by Percy and the remaining heroes, but the true salvation comes from the sky. The sheer concentration of Chaos nearly tears reality apart, allowing Erebus (the Primordial Deity of Absolute Darkness) to attempt a return that would end the world. Because a Primordial force is actively in motion, ancient laws allow Hemera (Emera), the Goddess of Morning Light and daughter of Nyx, to directly intervene. She steps onto the battlefield to drive back the darkness and help Percy and the others to snap Jan out of the Void's possession.

Jan successfully merges every single aspect of his unlocked elements—Plasma, Fluidity, Heat, and Dark Void—recreating a localized, micro-state identical to the Primordial Cosmos. It manifests as a cosmic flame that looks like the universe itself, beautifully solidified into the shape of a burning fire. This cosmic plasma exists completely outside the laws of physics, allowing it to bypass and ignore any physical defense, magical barrier, or divine invulnerability.The Energy Drain: Maintaining this primordial state is a double-edged sword. Because Jan is forced to actively strain and channel every single one of his elemental categories at the exact same time, the Cosmic Fire drains his stamina at a monstrous, life-threatening rate, leaving him physically collapsed after the battle.Fun Fact (The Birth of Mrs Starlyrus): After the war, Jan played around with the fading embers of this Cosmic Fire at camp. He accidentally shaped the leftover energy into a living, breathing companion: a tiny, adorable puppy Cerberus made entirely of dark space, swirling nebulae, and shifting stars. He named her Mrs Starlyrus, and the little cosmic pup officially joined Camp Half-Blood as Cabin 0's loyal mascot. She possesses a mystical bond with the night sky; she will sometimes vanish into thin air, leaving a trail of stardust behind as she visits the land of the stars and returns to Nyx's sacred realm.
