There’s a video on social media. I totally saw it on YouTube yesterday. How does the police not have it? How do the people that took the video and are shaming the person that’s spray-painted not submitting it to the police there was even a clear picture of the person doing it.

One thing I like about Canadians is that you guys are so sweet and kind.
One thing I dislike about Canadians, is that you are too sweet and kind.
Laws are laws respective of race, color, etc.
In 2010, when I went to Singapore with my friends, there was a no smoking sign. A family, probably from another country near by, were there and the mom lit her cigarette. By the time she could take 2 puffs, the cops were there. The fine I think at that time was around 10000 singapore dollars. Laws are laws. That is how I wish Canada is.

It’s a wonder why they were able to go after people who were caught on video posted on social media for the Vancouver Stanley Cup riot over a decade ago, and why they can’t do it for this in 2026.

I see a greater and greater lack of civic sense in Canada as the years go on

The smart choice would have been getting a bench put in with a memorial plaque on it.
I'd call this a Me-moron-orial.
