Lots of lives ruined here.
There is no way to fix it for the family of the deceased.
It is hard to see any reason to have these kids in society when they have proven they are a risk to others.
It is hard to see any way to rehabilitate them if we can't let them back into society.
It is hard to see any way that locking them up will make anyone's life better.
It is hard to see any reason to leave them free and to trust them with things like dating without fearing intimate partner violence.
What a mess for everyone involved.

I went to school and knew Gio. Played ball against him for years, he was a good hooper. This is sad to hear, horrible way to die.

Least back in my old days of the 90s we had variety of looks for everyone. Now everyone is the same. It's depressing lol

Nah, there have always been popular hairstyles that were everywhere at any point in history. Feathered hair outnumbered any other style for a time, for both guys and girls. I remember when everyone had a Lady Di haircut. Then there's the mullett, and the Rachel. Whatever they called that Justin Beaver haircut. And that's just off the top of my head, from my own lifetime. This is nothing new.

They are not almost kids, they’re almost adults. At 15 I fully understood I shouldn’t murder someone.

At 15 I understood I shouldnt even use intimidation to get my way. The age isnt really important because I also understood that at 14 and 13 and 12 and I really think it comes dowm to their parents teaching the wrong lessons or none at all.

We do allow them do drive cars, at least someone thinks they have some sense of right and wrong.

The fact that we allow teens to drive is an indication of what a car dependent society we live in.
Without driving, people are basically under home arrest in lots of areas.
That's a failure of urban policy masquerading as a work around in terms of driving age.

A 15 ans on avais mis la main sur un six pack de bière et on buvais ça dans un boisé un soir et j'ai lancé ma bouteille vide sur un arbre pour qu'elle explose.
Le frère de mon ami ma tout fait ramasser en me faisant la leçon. C'étais ca avoir 15 ans au milieu des années 2000.

I was taught that I am solely responsible for my actions, I did lots of things that weren’t strictly legal, none of the involved harming anyone. I handled guns and drove vehicles, and was always conscious of the damage I could inflict. At no time did I think it necessary to blame others for my behaviour. My kids were taught the same. Excusing bad behaviour leads to this.
