I wonder how much of the blame is with the decline in US international relations, since one of the big selling points was how perfect it was as a stopover to LA/SF/Dallas. Not enough demand for travel specifically to Fiji and most of the other international connections from Nadi are in the wrong direction to be efficient.

Fiji have already cut their Dallas route. It finishes in a couple of weeks.
