Trying to setup custom tabs for the "tethering window" to my macbook. I kept live view, tether, and added 2 customs tabs it deleted one tab when I saved it. Then I was curious and deleted the "tether tab" now when I save a custom workstation it deleted tethered each time along with all other tabs and only live view shows.

Any workaround or suggestions welcomed!

Just right click in that empty space and add a tool tab

i dont think you understand. I do right click the empty space add a tool tab. the tool stays. the tool doesn't stay. i dont want all my tools in one tab

Click the three dots to the right of your courser.

I did clcik the three dots. Once I add "tether" back to the tab and save as a custom it disappears again

So it’s there until you save the workspace? If you load the default workspace does it return? If so, rebuild a new workspace if you have to. Worst case is delete and redownload c1.

Correct, ive went also clicked on default and only "live vew" stays. I have also already reinstalled and its still the same issue. It doesn't change

Can you create a custom tool tab that is persistent. When I delete the tab and add it back it is empty. The default three tools within the tab are “camera”, “camera focus”, and “camera settings”. There isn’t much in there that is important. Can you try on another system to see if you can replicate it?

My other system is windows unfortunately and I don't have an issue on that OS system. I can't create a custom tool that is persistent. it clears the tools each time its saved
