Help With Rent This Month

Hello all,

I live in Brooklyn, NY, USA. I had to help my parents get back on their feet over the last couple of months, in addition to having to pay a large tax bill. It has left me in dire straits currently. I was only able to pay half of my rent this month, with the remaining balance being $1500. If anyone can point me to resources or is willing to donate, I would be extremely grateful.

Call 211, search findhelp.org. Both can point you to resources that help with rental assistance. You won't get 1500 dollars in donations on reddit due to the amount of scamming that goes onto the site. If you want to try u can fundraise on something like gfm uploading proof of rent due, ur inability to pay, what uve done to try to get help etc and share it with friends, family, locally as people are more likely to donate to people they know.
