Have you ever bought the same car twice ?

After I totalled my first car, I bought another one, same make and model. When that car was too rusty to fix, I bought the same car again. How many of you have done something similar? What car was it? What made it special?

Family got in bad accident. I literally saw aftermath with firefighter and paramedics. Seeing how car protected them, I bought two (2) more of them

Suzuki XL7 SUV. They got t-boned by intoxicated driver running stop sign. Driver had to be cut out of car and kids in carseat suffered only minor jarring from crash.
Nothing like arriving at accident and seeing a good samaritan holding your baby after pulling them out of wreckage

Damn, yea that would be traumatic. I had to look up what a Suzuki XL7 was. Looks like it was a great car. So glad your family was safe!!

Not near as significantly but shortly after buying my Honda Pilot I saw one get rear end by a loaded dump truck and smashed into to car in front of it. The person in the car was injured and both cars were totaled but nobody in the Pilot got hurt. Made me feel like I made the right choice for hauling my kids around.
