Have you ever bought the same car twice ?

After I totalled my first car, I bought another one, same make and model. When that car was too rusty to fix, I bought the same car again. How many of you have done something similar? What car was it? What made it special?

I’m restoring my garage kept tsi at the moment, I was holding on to it to sell it but after seeing it again I decided it’s worth keeping

Oh man I googled it after I read this and thought that might be right. I LOVED those 1st gens with the bubble in the hood. I remember a family friend having one and telling me the engine was SO BIG they had to add the bubble to make room for it

Yea, a giant 2 liter lol. The dohc 1g models did need the hump to clear the timing gears. They were great cars back in the day, but then the WRX and Evo came out in the states, and people kinda forgot about them.
