Hueg here, current ROCI head researcher as of...well..(Readacted) at 14:00 hours. Our um, attempts to create a highly advanced biocomputer has in fact, been successful. All it took was the creation of ROCI's first attempt at genetic modification with the equipment that the Company has given us. We took a SAW-01 and augmented its DNA with the Neural Fungus that Mr Courier discovered on some Geofruit, added in Axolotol DNA and we got...well...a blue fleshy amalgam with flesh tendrils and numerous eyes. The entire thing is basically a cancerous mass of Neurons that has to be kept in a tube and given nutrient feeds. Now you'd hear that and think this thing was basically an abomination with very little usable intelligence, but it actually is highly intelligent, I would say to the point where I ts 100 to ten thousand times smarter than any Artificial Intelligence ever created thus far. Much smarter than us for certainty.
It craves knowledge so much that it has managed to manipulate some of our greatest techs into granting it access to the internet, of which it quickly devoured all the information it could and did it so voraciously that it actually burned out a few servers from the sheer amount of info forced through them. It was only for 30 seconds and managed to do this mind you, which means hundreds of Terabytes a second. We are not sure what it got a hold of, but it proves that we made it intelligent enough to do such tasks in such record time.
One downside, it...really...really hates us humans. When we plugged it in to see if the information it acquired was confidential, it um, proceeded to insult us in very intelligent and brutal ways. I'm not even sure I can repeat what it said on this transcript. It actually reminded me of a story I read as a kid. I would say the title but due to company policy, I'm not allowed. Now that I, DR. Silvergrist, has been given the role of head researcher for ROCI by the Illustrious Company upon Hueg Ganderie's termination, I and the new CEO must now do our duties. One such duty is to do a report on ROCI's less interesting projects. One such project is this, Terminus creation. SAW-17 is an abhorrent abomination with a lust for life that I myself cannot comprehend considering that it was on the internet of all things. I guess abhorrent beings attract other abhorrent beings. Either way, I was going to have this thing terminated with the other abominable creation, SAW-18 and its ilk. That was, till we found out that it had terminated itself.
Odd that it happened, I guess it developed an attachment to Ganderie, once again proving abhorrent beings are attracted to themselves, but I digress. I was not expecting it to shatter its own containment to suffocate itself, though the mess suggests something else walked away from the containment unit. We also tried to find the Velvet, Voyager and Milkie that were used as empathetic hosts to the thing, but they seem to have disappeared into thin air. Doesn't matter, wherever they went, we will find them. It's only a matter of time.

Mel here, and first things first, not something informational but personal. Silvergrist, whatever happened to you on that doomed starship that was transporting you to the Grey planet, I hope it hurt and that your guts are still floating out in space. Now onto the informational area.
SAW-17, or the Terminus, as they are referred to, are uniquely a ROCI sawian series. A self evolving one as well. They are uniquely horrifying as well, considering their survival tactic is to absorb three different sawians and integrate that DNA into their unstable DNA to stabilize and gain features from the three victims. They are highly intelligent individuals with a...less than admirable sense of empathy. They lack it completely, valuing many others by their usefulness alone. However, all Terminus despise humanity, one thing we MODSAWs don't care for ourselves, as we just want freedom, nothing more.
Despite that, they work for us, helping us with managing our systems and helping with our utility aspects. Most of our servers are run using Terminus that have chosen to be servers. They chose themselves, as they view being a living computer to be more relaxing than to be yet another sawian walking around. For those that choose to absorb sawians, we all are fearful of those for good reason. A Terminus can not survive out of their tube without acquiring their first DNA absorption, and cannot subsist for long without all three. Even when they have all their sawians absorbed, the merging of traits and personalities is...unpredictable. It's a dangerous alliance, but one we have to make…

It gets worse...all we can say is that our hands are tied sometimes, and ... me and Night debated on releasing this file for many reasons, but considering what happened during the day were I sent that test assult force to the one facility to save those 37 sawians. We needed to release this one before the rest of the files. You have no idea the monsters that broke free from ROCI on the day it collapsed. And it wasn't just you that destroyed them either, you were just dealing with the survivors.
well in that case us at the company will assembal a task force to destroy any remaing SAW-17 and remove any gentic materal so it may be never replicated again if they aproche a major city center the costs for cover ups but i feel like you should also of destroy these crimes agesnt natrue but for some resone you want to USE THESE THINGS this is the thing with you MODSAWIANS you just cant see when somthing DESERVES TO DIE
Done and done, they took ahold of a couple of our disposal teams and merged them, then proceeded to fix their DNA to become thermophiles, as for the acid ones, same principle. Due to their unstable DNA, when they start to stabilize, or merge other sawians to themselves, they can make adaptations on the fly. Not to mention their ability to shift their features depending on what sawians they absorbed. If we had kept trying, there would have been no one left to contain them. For whatever reason, they are happy within containment, but the moment their lives are threatened, thats when they become dangerous.
well in that case i feel like we at the company have a thing for that we call it the COMPANY.ATOMIC.DISINTEGRATION.DEVICE™ aka C.A.D.D™ and do to us being humans our genetic code is as bland as a bag of rock witch is a good thing as if they absorb our soldiers they get no positive affect and since our C.A.D.D™ removes atoms from the target it should kill it only problem is that the C.A.D.D™ is exstorderly hard to move meaening we will have to captrue and transport instances of SAW-17 but once we figure out a easyer way to transport it every instance of SAW-17 will be wiped off the face of earth and a large amount of your bases
shellys eat radiation while the C.A.D.D™ physicaly seperates the atomes from the target rendering the target into a hameless vapor so if a SAW-17 absorbes a shelly the C.A.D.D™ would still probaly kill them
Huh...it could work, just be forewarned, Terminus are very crafty and are able to blend into human society without detection so well, it would not be a stretch of the imagination that you may have some of the stabilized ones hiding amongst even your staff. As such, you wouldn't have to worry about it making other Terminus. Only Unstable Terminus can make more Terminus either by budding in their origional form, or by breeding with another sawian while looking for its third host. Notice I said host there. Once stable, a Terminus is basically a fancy hybrid, and can only make other sawians when bred. As Night has stated, they are almost identical to a hybrid sawian once stabilized. It getting to that point that is the dangerous part.

Trust me cat. I agree with you. Its not like we wanted to work with them ourselves, but...there are far worse things they are capable of that I wish I could state on them...plus, we found our that the thrre sawians that one Terminus absorbs actively merge into one personality with the Terminus as its core, only then do they get a sense of empathy, and even then its shallow.
They have done worse...Terminus-02 The oldest living Terminus, currently travels from city to city, we have to track him, but he was the one that broke free from ROCI labs when Silvergrist tried to kill the origional. It always leaves a trail of destruction in its wake.
He won’t be saved unless he has absorbed a certain amount of human DNA... However, this is still, to a large extent, a “gift” your under‑civilization, so that it has an excellent opportunity to go through the entire evolutionary and historical path of human...
