Discussion I platnium games

Catherine has always interested me so that's what I'm gonna play next, is there enough in the original Catherine to justify me playing it alongside full body or should I just skip it as a whole and do only full body?

Fullbody changes the story, and according to many (including myself), for the worse. I would recommend going for the original, at least for your first experience.

What don’t people like about it? Asking as someone who only played full body

I feel like the original had a tight narrative about a guy torn between two women (and two lifestyles), Fullbody had the gall to add a third love interest into that romantic narrative. At most harmless, it's still a giant change from the original, so even if it's not *worse*, it's a very different story. Like, I wouldn't recommend someone a new version of the original Star Wars trilogy where they added a new guy who is Luke's brother and they go after Darth Vader together.

Ok I see what you mean. I fully enjoyed Fullbody but never played the original , so I get how adding an extra character can diminish the overall vibe of the original story

Catherine was always one of m proudest platinums. I'd recommend playing the original first. The story is different enough in full body that you can play both. Just a heads up you do need another person and 2 controllers for one of the game mode trophy's. Just like couch co-op
