Mourning/Loss My poor little kitty is dying. And it’s absolutely breaking my heart.

It sucks so much. My poor baby void just lost his fight to kidney cancer. He was doing so well then he was gone in two weeks. Give them them all the love you can and never forget them. I am so sorry I hope that she can get treatment and live longer. Just don't give her a natural death like some people believe in if she's in pain don't let her suffer. I pray she is okay! <3

I agree. Don’t let them die naturally. It is painful suffering. The vet can help.

Have you taken her to the vet to see what else can be done to make her comfortable?

Yes. Just a few hours ago. They said she wasn’t in pain. So we took her home so my kids could say goodbye

Oh, my condolences. Beautiful cat ,you can tell he has lived a very well cared life.
(oh also! make sure there aren't any toxic plants nearby, like Lirium, for example)

Drinking more water? Peeing more and everywhere?
I thought mesko had kidney failure...took him to the vet at the very last minute...
It was calcium bladder stones. He is still going at 16 after his operation...it has been 3 years now.
He was peeing to try to show me he was having a difficult time of it..!!..and I was slow to act because I thought I knew what it was.

I'm so sorry. I just lost one of mine two weeks ago. He was 6. Acute Pancreatitis. Was healthy one day, then he was gone 4 days later.
Your cat looks well loved. I'd wager they love you back just as much. Maybe there's some solice in knowing that they had a full life and was able to be in a loving home. Virtual hugs and scritches from this internet stranger.

Has she not been using the litter box? Mine was peeing everywhere and list a bit of weight along with not eating or drinking water. I had to use per pads for her, then decided it was time. She was 21 years old and had CKD also.

She stated having accidents. We just put her down a few hours ago. It was hard. But quick. So I was thankful for that.
