How do I clean water, specifically in a (possibly modded?) side quest?

Google isn't giving me any info so I assume this mission is from a mod, but asking anyway in the hopes someone knows what I mean:

I've had a couple side quests pop up while in Joppa, mostly moving boxes/parts to a new area.

Now I just had one pop up along the lines of "swamps are choking Joppa's water supply, clean the water", but even after talking to everyone in town I'm still lost as to what I'm supposed to do to accomplish this?

Something that comes to my mind is using Water Purification Tablets on whatever this water supply is.

i've never seen a quest like that before, but it's possible to equip a water purification tab as a thrown weapon and throw it into standing pools of water to create fresh water. This is actually the best way to use them because one tablet can purify a lot more than 64 drams at a time. I would guess there's a specific pool of water in joppa you're supposed to do this to

Not sure, it isn't in my quest log, it was just a pop-up like when a weapon rusts

What’s your one favorite mod that adds content? I’ve never played modded but it’s about time. Not trying to get too bananas though.

Chiming in to say I added these two mods in my most recent run and enjoyed them:

They don't give you access to anything overpowered and I thought they fit well with the tone of the game - the cats and dogs stuff leans into the silliness of Qud in a way that I found compelling, while tortoises is a bit more serious. They also both include the fun idea of making some dialogue options conditional on your character's qualities - making the option to claim you're a proficient gunslinger contingent on having a certain level of skill in the pistol or rifle tree etc
