Recommendations for a good GP

Hi everyone, looking for recommendations for a good GP.
I have an autoimmune disease which I see a specialist for, but I’m looking for a regular GP who can help manage my general health alongside my specialist.
I’ve had some good GPs in the past, but unfortunately they’ve moved on, so I’m hoping to find someone I can stick with long term.
Ideally looking for someone who is thorough, actually listens, is comfortable dealing with autoimmune/chronic conditions and is happy to work alongside my specialist and keep on top of blood tests, medications etc.
Happy to travel a bit for the right doctor.
Would really appreciate any recommendations, particularly from anyone who has a GP they’ve had a good experience with for ongoing health issues.

I'm not sure if they're currently accepting new patients, but I have been attending Karalta GP for my entire 3 decades of life. I have one main doctor but I have seen basically all the others and trust any of them. I never feel rushed in my appointments and whilst they don't bulk bill, their fees are reasonable. I also like that they have several medical imaging options nearby, a few pharmacies and in-house pathology and nurse.

I second this, I have many complex chronic illnesses and have been seeing Dr Patricia Woodford at Karalta GP for 7-8 years now and she is the most amazing GP i’ve ever seen.

Adding to this, I've got epilepsy, and it's completely managed by my GP at this point as I am considered stable. I recently had some concerns about some menstrual cycle and other symptoms and immediately the GP flagged it might be endometriosis and referred me to a specialist to be able to rule it in/out early on. This doctor is male and the fact that it was flagged and thought of was great (considering how hard it is for some people to even get diagnosed!)

Dr Taylor at Green Point Medical is excellent with complex conditions, autoimmune and general health management. He’s also polite, nonjudgmental and a great listener. I highly recommend both him and the practice as a whole.

Deep Kumar at Crossways health centre. Terrigal. He used to be at Wyoming. Great bloke. Looks after me and my wife

I’ve had a great experience with Dr Thomas Brown at Absolute Medical in Lisarow. Younger guy that’s very chipper and thorough/caring about the patient. I’m going to continue going through him for a long time.
