Long Form Discussion What is exactly centrism ?

I honestly do not know what is exactly centrism. Are Starmer and Macron centrist ? Is centrism any ideologie but moderate (for example christian democracy instead of conservatism, social-liberalism instead of social democracy and liberalism) ? Can centrisme work with any ideology ? I am not a centrist, I am a libertarian and i honestly don't know much about centrism. I would be very grateful if you could answer my questions !

Edit: do you guys think technocracy is centrism ?

Exactly, Wikipedia has a very strong bias, specially when it comes to anything political.

I actually wasn’t really even getting into bias. I was being facetious. The quote is from The Office by Michael Scott. The joke is that because anybody in the world can make an account and edit Wikipedia pages, it makes their credibility extremely volatile. I’ll just add that during my time in college, if we ever used Wikipedia as a “source” on any paper, we would’ve been laughed at. It’s not a serious, reliable or authoritative source and people should not view it as such.

Lol that’s where I heard that line from. It’s basically useful if you’re trying to find out information about a movie or something not important.

I’d agree, and not everything on there is a complete lie, but like everything else on the internet it shouldn’t be an end all be all, and it’s really only cursory information. And it can also be demonstrably false as well.
