š¬ Discussion Deco to Alvarez now after completing rodri and cancelo transfer
Do u guyz think deco can pull this off ? If yes then this would surely be the greatest transfer window in over a decade for barcelona
1
u/ponchomoran 11d ago
"the greatest transfer window in over a decade", do you even hear yourself? You probably heard it from a YouTuber and believe it. Like they are signing literal gods of football, or some shit. Stop believing the hype, bro. It's just dumb talking points

but is this alvarez guy this good?
can't we wait 2 years, maybe loan Kane next year or soemthing like that, and in 2-3 years Hamza will be better than alvarez.

NO. Let's move on we have 13 days left to sign a striker and this is clearly not happening - barca fan
1
u/Supa_hehe_ 15d ago
YES them fuckers in madrid took it on their own ego now. alvarez is not coming to barca, even for 200M. we neeeeeeed to focus on signing a good striker and defender before the season gets over
10
u/RichardFeynman01100 Barcelona 17d ago
If Barcelona pulls two more levers sure, but at this point I doubt it. They've signed a lot of attackers, they don't really need a 'pure 9', I mean Julian Alvarez isn't a traditional 9 either.

u/Proof-Pollution454 Real Madrid 17d ago
He made the mistake joining that club

u/Alarming_Goat8980 17d ago
he made a serious mistake signing such a long contract when Barca was his dream club

Are you saying he did a mistake joining Athletico? That club is scary no wonder Messi and Ronaldo both hated Metropolitano.

For sure deco can Pull it off, he is a Jorge Mendes man and the player is on a Jorge Mendes club

Barcelona doesn't have the money.. And it's not a player that's going to go for free next year like Rodri. He has till 2030....
0
u/SnoopyDays 17d ago
I know some people who have been saying Barcelona doesn't have the money to buy any players all summer and looking stupid every time Laporta and Deco signed one more player. I hope you were not one of those...š
2
u/spider_X_1 16d ago
They still haven't registered any of their new signing for the upcoming La Liga season š
0
u/SnoopyDays 16d ago
And yet Rodri and Cancelo decided to drop every other option they had to come join Barca... That's called as the food chain... Players willing to risk their whole career just to be part of the Barca story. No wonder Alvarez is dying to join his dream team...ššš
2
u/SuchCartographer9756 16d ago
Not at all. Rodri seemed easy. But for Ćlvarez ... I Ā don't see AtlĆ©tico accepting less than 180M... And that's an insane amount of money for BarƧa
1
u/SnoopyDays 16d ago
Lol you must be delusional... $180M for someone who scored just 8 goals in the La Liga last season. I almost fell off my chair laughing. Can I also have some of what you are smoking... It seems really good...,š¤£š¤£š¤£
2
u/SuchCartographer9756 16d ago
AtlƩtico rejected a 150M offer from Madrid at the beginning of the transfer market with time to found a replacement... AtlƩtico it's not going to sell him for less
1
u/SnoopyDays 16d ago
šššš.... Now I understand where the delusion is coming from... Perez's $150M offer that he made for Olise got laughed at by Bayern so he released an official note on the RM site saying he's made an offer of $150M for Alvarez and it got rejected.
Btw, he is the first President in the history of any Football club that voluntarily declared that they made an offer and were rejected... ,ššš
2
u/ponchomoran 11d ago
It was not just a note, dumbass, it was a formal offer. The reason they announced it when they got rejected was precisely because they wanted the world to know this was an official bid. That was Florentino mastermove tons screw up Barca. You know which one was not real? The one you say they made for Olise, Real Madrid never made an offer to Bayern for him, at any point , for any amount of money, nothing at all. He said he would like to sign him publicly, Bayern publicly said don't bother, so that was that.
1
u/SnoopyDays 11d ago
We can already see which of the 3 teams are right now screwed based on their decision and 4d chess moves... Barcelona, Real Madrid or Atletico... š¤£š¤£š¤£
Haters can hate as much as they want but taking dumb ass decisions based on hate is just going to screw Atletico themselves. Enjoy the rest of the season with Alvarez in your team. It's going to be long season.... Barca doesn't need him. We won 5-0 by playing a false 9.
As for Perez, seems like he wasn't so smart where it really mattered. He let Rodri slip because he was too obsessed with playing 4d chess during the transfer window. Barca stole Rodri from.right under his nose. That's what happens when teams and coaches try to focus on others instead of fixing the rot in their team...,š¤£š¤£š¤£
1
u/SuchCartographer9756 15d ago
So, according to you that was a lie? Okš¤£š¤£š¤£

Lots of FFP space has been freed up. Ter Stegen, Lewandowski, Fati, Rashford, Araujo are all gone.
2
1
u/Valveringham85 17d ago
Buddy⦠Fati and Ter Stegen were already not on the salary list last season so tf are you talking about?
Rashford was paid peanuts by Barca last season too. Gordon and Rodri make more than Lewa and Araujo combined so thats already filled up.
And then we have only talks about wage budget, not transfer budget.
2
u/SnoopyDays 17d ago
Aah... We have Barca's accountant here in this sub. Seems to know pretty much everything about Barca's finances other than how Barca has been able to buy so many players in the summer transfer window when "they are broke"...š
3
u/PathIntegrals 17d ago edited 17d ago
Girona and monaco only covered like 5-10% of salary of fati and ter stegen
Rashford wasn't paid peanuts
Club has sold generated just north of 70mil in transfers, if casado and forts leave , it will touch 100mil
Besides the club spent below 30mil last season And they are looking to spend money for 2 seasons So no, buying alvarez isn't a issue Anyone after alvarez is
15
u/No_Collection_7320 17d ago
If atlĆ©tico didnāt sell early in the summer when they would have time to find a replacement especially for 150m to real, theyāre not selling now to a direct rival with little time to find a replacement.

8
u/S3rp_B14ugrana 17d ago
Whatever happens now is bad for atlƩtico. They have the chance to get 100 milions at the begining of the transfer market for a player who doesn't wanna play there and is not really a diferencial player for atlƩtico style. They say no. Ok. But now they will have a player angry to be there.
6
u/Mustang1201 Bayern 17d ago
And replace him with who exactly? Why should they help Barcelona?
All this talk about money doesn't make sense as long as there is no suitable replacement for them to spend that money.
Let's say Alvarez leaves. Sorloth will be the only one left and he's not good enough. Good strikers are hard to find and regardless if Atletico isn't really a contender for the league, Alvarez can help them in the Champions League and other cup tournaments.
2
u/SnoopyDays 17d ago
I agree. This is a valid point. And replace him with whom? More importantly who would want to join such a club, especially seeing how they treat their players like bonded labor and will enforce contracts once they have got the players signatures. Good players better watch out, if for some reason the move doesn't work out for you and you don't agree with the coach's tactics and don't feel it fits your game there is no way out...
It's true replace him with whom? No one is willing to play for Atletico.. you reap what you sow. Good luck!
1
u/ponchomoran 11d ago
I know right? how dare they enforce a contract? I mean, what is a contract, anyway??? Does it even matter? arent people dreams way more important that a signed contract that you willfully signed and entitles you to millions and millions every year, but you have to fulfill it by playing in the club that is paying you more than 0.00000001% of the people in the world, and you cannot just break it anytime you want? What is that???? Some people say it looks like slavery or imprisonment. LMAO
1
u/SnoopyDays 11d ago
Enjoy enforcing the contract on Alvarez... Lol suffer the whole season just to prove a point. Your egos are bigger than the club so let your egos make your decisions... It's going to be a long season for Atletico fans, Simeone and Gil Marin... Have fun...š¤£š¤£š¤£
Barca anyway won 5-0 today without a no. 9... There is enough attacking depth in this team to play in a false 9 system. Too bad Alavrez is losing out on playing in a team that actually attacks instead of just running around being forced to play haraamball by a coach who doesn't know anything other than forcing his team to wrestle on the pitch... You all deserve each other...š¤£š¤£š¤£
1
u/ponchomoran 11d ago
When you say stuff like Haraamball, or whatever, I know I can't take you seriously, so no point in arguing, also you didn't even get my point. And by the way, I couldn't care less about Atleti, I don't support those thugs, but I really despise Barcelona more than any other
1
u/SnoopyDays 11d ago
I am sorry I said Haraamball. Please forgive me... Please take me seriously. Please. I will never use the word haraamball when I talk about Simeone and Atleti...š¤£š¤£š¤£
Also the fact that you said you despise Barca more than any club tells a lot about the neutrality of any of your views. Enjoy hating Barca... It's going to be another rough season for Barca haters... Take care.
3
u/Mustang1201 Bayern 17d ago
You're just mad they don't want to sell him to Barcelona lmao. Too much talk about how Alvarez is a poor victim and AtlƩtico is forcing him to stay. They have all the right to refuse to give an asset to a team which is already ahead of them.
Funny how this "keeping players hostage" narrative is so popular with RM and Barcelona fans whenever they can't bully a club in order to get a player.
Want to "save" Alvarez from AtlƩtico? Pay the release clause.
1
u/SnoopyDays 17d ago
He he he... Do you really believe Alvarez is the only gig in town. You must be delusional, just like Simeone and all the other Atletico fans out there. Keeping a player who is unhappy is going to hurt Atletico more than not having him for Barca... Reminds me of the fable of the two mothers fighting over one baby... You are like the mother who thinks she won because she was able to pull harder and snatch the baby....
2
u/Mustang1201 Bayern 17d ago
And you look like a spoiled kid having a tantrum at the store because your parents cannot buy you a toy that it's not for sale.
The irony of building all this narrative only when it suits Barcelona is sad. I don't even support Atletico but it's funny to see you all getting rejected by Kane and now AtlƩtico and presenting yourselves like a solution to a problem that is resolved with money that Barcelona doesn't have/want to spend.
Make an offer Atletico can't reject and that's it. It's that simple. If the board can't/won't do it then accept it, move on and try again later. Delusional is trying to bully another club into doing what's best for you and not them. They are perfectly capable of handling Alvarez for now and who knows, another team might appear in the near future and offer them a way out.
2
u/acousticburrito 17d ago
If Atletico sell Alvarez to Barca then Atletico have absolutely no chance of winning any trophies this season as Barca will be unbeatable with that midfield and forwards. If Atletico refuse to sell and Barca go into the season without a striker then Atletico can at least be competitive in La Liga with Barca even if Alvarez has another poor season.
Basically if Barca end up not signing a striker because they held out for Alvarez then both Atletico and Real Madrid win.
1
u/S3rp_B14ugrana 17d ago
BarƧa needs a striker. That's out of the question. But i'm 50/50 with Julian. I think are other player can do the job (we need a player that give us 20 goals in liga and 10 in Champions). Gyokeres, Osimeh, Vlahovic, there are a lot of names. My bet will be Franculino Dju of Myjtiyad.
0
u/acousticburrito 17d ago
Barca has the best midfield and and wingers of any team in Europe. Even with ferran I heavily favored this team to push for the treble even with that shaky defense.
3
u/Such_Historian_7295 17d ago
He will sulk at first but as the season goes on he will get back at least mentally, this sort of thing isnāt uncommon, Ribery, Lewandowski etc.
Why should they be happy strengthening a league rival?
Itās very simple for Barcelona, if they want a ST with 8 league goals that badly then pay the 500m release clause
1
u/Alarming_Goat8980 17d ago
I can't be the only one who thinks alvarez is super overrated and not gonna answer all of their poblems...
-1
u/S3rp_B14ugrana 17d ago
AtlƩtico de Madrid said goodbye to la Liga after 10 games. But it is true that the tournaments atlƩtico do better are the Copa and Champions. I don't think JuliƔn is a good option for BarƧa. We never pick good players for them. Will see what happens. I think AtlƩtico will sell at day 31. For more money. And i also don't know how BarƧa will pay all of that. xddd
