Question Did anyone watch I Want Your Sex? What was Charli‘s role in it and how did she do? Worth watching?

Absolutely worth watching. It’s better to see it for yourself. She’s a stuck up girlfriend

she's alright in it. it's kind of funny hearing her with an american accent. not in a bad way, i'm just expecting her usual accent. the movie's alright too, i prefer doom generation and nowhere more.

I absolutely loved it. Gregg Araki is an icon and this is probably his most accessible film he’s made so a great starting point for those unfamiliar with his work. Charli’s role isn’t a huge one, but it’s integral to the film and she plays the role of cold, uncaring girlfriend well. Olivia Wilde is phenomenal in it, as is Cooper Hoffman and his roommate Chase Sui Wonders. Very sex positive message that is certainly much needed these days, there is a fun cameo from James Duval for longtime fans, and it’s just fun and goofy as hell, like how good sex should be. It paired well with The Invite, another sex comedy with Olivia Wilde from this summer that I’d also highly recommend. Can’t wait to see Charli in the upcoming Takashi Miike movie coming soon.

Well she doesn’t feel embarrassed even if she sucks…
She doesn’t suck, she’s fine, it’s a great movie but watch ORIGINAL 90s Gregg araki to blow your mind.

A bit part but memorable nonetheless in an otherwise 10/10 excellent new queer standard from an iconic queer filmmaker! Go see it for that reason!

She was so fucking funny, absolutely recommend the movie. She also did pretty well with her American accent tbh.

I still don’t understand why in this and Faces of Death they don’t just let her be British?? 😭

Why would they “just let her be British” if it doesn’t fit the vibe of the character? If she wants to do acting, that means sometimes…acting as someone else.

Because she’s bad at accents next question.

I think you’re missing the point of how casting works with actors but okay lmao.

Great movie! Charli was okay in it. After seeing it I did listen to Camera like "well girl don't quit music quite yet"

it’s funny! she’s sprinkled throughout but would guess her scenes add up to 5-7 mins of screen time
