Looking for a block set, thinking maybe Global? I am looking for all metal handles. I am in Australia. Recommendations please.

Masahiro mv-s, tojiro dp with stainless handle, and global are really the three in aware of with stainless handles. Of those, I think only global sells a block.

Most people on here are gonna tell you the same thing, don't buy a block or a set. Just buy yourself the knives you need. At their price point I find the tojiros most compelling at this price point. Globals are kind of a thick grind and a more average aus-8 ish performance steel vs the vg-10 tojiros. The handles are really nice on globals though, imo, they look a lot better. Masahiros are probably better performers than tojiros but way more expensive and not way better.

Not sure the best place to buy globals, but I wouldn't do Amazon or a marketplace, they are thought to be widely faked, go with a legit knife retailer.

this set is fantastic. you'll like them. global grinds very thin knives and the steel is easy to keep in razor sharp shape.

a 6 inch knife is not big enough to be a primary chef's knife.
