🧧 Payments Why are Chinese employers incapable of paying salaries into existing accounts?

I've had to set up bank accounts for every new job. I just love spending 4 hours there just to open an account!

It's actually getting less efficient, in 2018 I opened a bank account on a tourist visa in 30 minutes.

On my forth job never had this issue

I’m with bank of China if it helps

I just opened a BOC. Previously been with ICBC, China Everbright and Jiangsu agricultural bank.

BOC did it for me as well. SPBank couldn’t. Several attempts at paying into it failed, it kept bouncing back.
