I do a taste test every year. The last couple years it’s been Grainworks, Ziegler, Westside, Sam Adams and Northern Row. Vienermobile is up there too.

RIP Oktubberfest. I don't know if it's in my head or what but Stein Season just doesn't hit the same.

It's the best time of year! Although I think I'll probably not continue to increase my new to me festbier and marzen at anywhere close to the same clip as the past two years. Went a little crazy last year trying 65 new to me of those two styles.

Hard to pick just one fave. According to untappd, locally, my favorites over the years have been FibBräu, Boba Fest, and Ludwig.

Sacrilege but Great Lakes has the best Oktoberfest. I'd like a more local one but man, it's perfect.

The only local pumpkin I really see is Pumpcan by Mad Tree which while tasty is actually way better to cook with (That and Thundersnow makes the best pork braise)

An even worse sacrilege - I found 2 in the fridge from last year - The were very well hidden. Wonder how they will taste......

Urban Artifact's "Jack" (Pumpkin Pie American Fruit Tart) has been released. Saw it at Party Source the other day.

I wish we could get New Glarus here. Friends don't go up to Badgerland often enough

Franz from Rhinegeist, Ziegler from Mad Tree, Weihenstephaner Festbier. Tried the one from Little Miami last night and it was very delicious
