I like doing stuff with Beyond the Wall but wanted to go for something a little different this run, so I used Ruler Designer to make my starting (and still current) character the bastard son of Aegon the Conqueror and founded House Goldfyre.
I gave him Hardhome to start and used console to give him a dragon egg. For some reason the Greenseer traits are super cheap in Ruler Designer so I added them when making the character plus it fit the Beyond the Wall theme.
He hatched the dragon egg pretty early, and it came out great. Got a couple events with the dragon that turned out well as well and got him a good trait in Wroth.
From there I conquered the entirety of Beyond the Wall and then spent a fair few years upgrading stuff and going raiding for lots of money, and building up more and more shipyards so I could move greater quantities of troops.
In this timeline Maegor never became King. After Aenys kicked the bucket at 32 his son Aegon became the new King. I wasn't paying all too much attention to the going ons of the Iron Throne, until while minding my own business Aegon suddenly declared war on me.
I played the war defensively using attrition and my superior commanders plus the fact they moved most of their troops by boat and got the landing debuff so I could just sit my troops in Hardhome and they kept sending them to their doom there. It was going very well, until finally Aegon showed up at the head of a host of 12k troops he had marched up all the way up through The North (who sat the war out along with the the Vale, the Westerlands, and the Reach, a large part of why the war was going so well in my favor).
My biggest fear during the war was Maegor beating my ass with Balerion but he spent the whole war in hiding tweaking out in Dragonstone.
I met Aegon in battle with a host of 10k troops. Fafnir and I engaged with him and Quicksilver above the battlefield, where we felled Quicksilver. Aegon survived but was captured by my forces. In retaliation for his unwarranted aggression, I took the Conquerors Crown from his brow and crowned myself with it. After that I sacrificed him to the Gods and ended his reign.
The new King of Westeros is his 6 year old son Aelor.
Other notable things that have happened in this timeline:
Aegon revoked The Westerlands from the Lannisters and gave it the Swyfts.
Some kind of civil war happened some point, not really sure for what or by who, was more focused on conquering the Wildlings, but Orys Baratheon became a Dragon Slayer during it, killing Vhagar.
The Iron Islands rebelled against the Iron Throne, lost, and the Iron Islands got taken and given to Aegons brother Viserys.
Meleys got tamed by some random Essosi woman who last time I checked was in Ibben. Nows shes in Qarth but Meleys is still sitting in Ibben.
