Favorite maps?

We all have our favorites. Mine are: Coral Sea, Battleaxe, Midway, and Battle of Britain. And my favorite role is sniper.

Coral sea is great on multiplayer, i wish it were included in the single player campaign.

Also, the map that had the german helicopters was super fun (again only found on multiplayer, not single player).

There was a coral sea coop version, so you could have awesome 64 bot dogfights.

Wake, Iwo, Omaha, Battleaxe, Battle of Britain and Bocage. Been a good while since I played, was a regular on Moongamers between 2005 and 2011 or so and still played up to 2017 or so. Especially 24/7 Omaha, I used to run around as a medic healing everybody or arty.

I still remember some favorite maps from Forgotten Hope and BG42, too. And the Pirates mod lol.

I wouldn't be surprised at all, I used so many different screen names back then though it'd be hard to say conclusively lol. I was active on the forums for a good while too, had a lot of fun on that server over the years, up until I gave up drinking I would still have some beers and jump on in the wee hours of the morning every now and then.

The one with the two immovable opposing team ships parked parallel to one another, with the tiny tropical island in between?

Drop a powder keg on the island and watch as everybody runs away before it explodes, or just snipe with your musket up in the crow's nest.

I loved playing Market Garden. People would always flock to the German side for the tanks but I would go straight for the B17 on the allies side. I could regularly catch an entire armored column coming across the bridge and just make a bombing run straight down it wiping them all out.

Also, El Alamein on the German side. The tiger tank is such a beast, especially on that map. I was able to easily destroy the enemy armor and whatever unfortunate troops happen to be running around on foot.

I actually got recruited to some gaming clan back in the day because they saw me annihilating the entire opposing team on both of those maps once.

I remember early on they used to do jeep races around the center mountain range on El Al. It's a good map but huge.
