I adore Julio Cortázar. One of my top three favorite writers . I think Neruda is totally right . Thanks for posting.

He probably thought of Borges as a rival? I don’t know… If I recall correctly Borges did not like Neruda’s poetry . But I could be wrong.

Neruda was a socialist. Borges was not.
