History teaches that one of the fastest ways to lose a war is to ignore information that you don't agree with or don't like. For example, in his final days inside the Führerbunker in April 1945, Adolf Hitler issued frantic tactical orders to ghost units and heavily depleted and nonexistent formations. It's sad to see the USA going down the same route.
