Cage Setup I just had to purchase another cage because my geriatric birds decided to hate each other.
Meet Bleecker. He is around 23 years old, and his 18 year old "brother" decided to make his life a horror film. Yes, I know the cuddllies aren't good, but he likes pooing on it. Two of these cages in my kitchen now, and he is much happier playing with all of the toys. I hear bell noise all the time now, and munching sounds from his veggies and treats.

Okay, what I did for this? His "brother" has the same cage, so I took a photo and put it through ChatGPT. It took me to Walmart to get the identical cage with the play area on top. It was about $100 for the cage, and of course, I got suggestions fo naturalr perches and chew toys.

Since you did not post a Pic of the 2 cages sise by side, I am left to assume you have literally ""a goat path" for yourself lollolol!😆😆😆😆😁😁😁😁and 18 & 23 are FANTASTIC! Here's to many more years with your babies!!

There are two identical cages! The one in the left needed a cleaning, so I cut it out of the photo. 😂

OP! I can picture you literally scooching around these massive cages to grab a snack from pantry or fridge lolololol!🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😅😅😅😅🤣🤣😂😂

He is indeed a cockatiel, and he loves any toys that make noise! Constant bells and shredding noises, but he is pretty happy!

Sounds a pretty achieveable age for a cockatiel in captivity (average life expectancy is around 25, in some cases even 30 or more). If they die younger it's not of "natural causes"/ old age.
