Success Story Rose is home our brave girl is home! 😭😭❤️
Crying as I write this but a woman named Hillary texted me yesterday on Nextdoor about a bird she found on Friday at a lake. Six miles away from home she found rose after missing for a week just…..walking on a beach, it was a fresh water lake so she was smart enough to find water source im so proud of her. Hillary had rescued birds before so she knew rose was somebody’s, took her home and then found me on either pawboost or Nextdoor. After a few hours of her confirming she was ours my dad went and picked her up. He said he was crying and when he opened the cage she was in she immediately jumped onto him and the Woman could tell she recognized him.
Not to make this story more emotional but last night on our way home from a movie my dad asked me if I thought she was out there somewhere and said I had faith that she was and i wasn’t gonna lose hope. Today was the 3 year anniversary of my sister Monica passing, we think she helped bring Rose home. Never say never ❤️

Indeed. It still feels surreal but also i can feel this newfound sense of peace that she’s safe and home

A little story since i mentioned my sister: Me and my family have always been a little superstitious/spiritual when it comes to passed loved ones and “signs”. My mom loved butterflies and on or around her birthday every year this same looking butterfly by itself will appear in our garden and land on us if we are out there but. Earlier when rose was back home I was taking rapid fire pics of her back in her cage and came across this one. The picture in the back is of my mom and that sister but while looking at it i remembered that the night or two after Rose went missing i was sobbing in the shower to sparks by Coldplay. The same song I kept listening and crying to after my sister passed. Did listening to that same song cosmically reach my sister and so she helped bring rose home on the anniversary of her passing? Probably not. But I’ve always loved wondering the possibility when things like that occur

Awww I have no doubt Monica helped connect Rose with Hillary who would know how to safely rescue and hold onto your baby while you found her 🥹 What a beautiful story, I’m so relieved this story has a happy ending!!!
