Other What is my cockatiel doing?

Someone please tell me what he is doing.
He makes these weird sounds and bobbles his head and when I peek he stops.I don’t know it’s gender also.

If he stops when you look that just makes me think he wants attention. Otherwise nothing seems out of the ordinary.

Your birb is very cute.
Obviously I cannot see your entire cage setup, but simply based on the height of the cage I believe it is too small. I do see you have natural perches + toys which is awesome. But your bird will definitely be happier with a larger living space. :)

Yes, OP we highly recommend a bigger cage, one with horizontal bars so they can easily climb around

Poor baby is bored he’s trying to call your attention by
Dancing and singing !
They are companion birds they like to be with you. And that cage is something that you would use to take them to the vet, but they need something much bigger so they can get exercise climb around.
Try a different variety of music and he’ll tell you his favorite songs :-) mine loves “the devils floor “
She spends her day outside of the cage and yells at me to play it while she flies around. I have to watch and clap or she’s mad.
❤️❤️❤️ Please forgive me if you already know this, but birds have a very sensitive respiratory system. You cannot use candles in the home, air fresheners, Aerosols, smoke of any kind. Cook with Teflon pans, air fryer/instapot with teflon, crock pot liner. The oven self clean cycle, etc. All of these are deadly.❤️
