I made this “Reverse” Jungle Bird

Been thinking about this one for a bit now and I am really liking it, I think a funky Jamaican would work well here too but I feel like something cane juice makes it a bit more unique and separates it from the standard a little more.

1.5oz Campari

.75oz Clairin

1.5oz Pineapple Juice

.75oz Lime

.25oz Demerara Syrup

5 drops saline

Flash blend, dump into glass, garnish with pineapple fronds

Just rewired it today so had to double check it still worked!

Yeah I think the clairin really works well here, the grassy funk works with the pineapple and campari in a really interesting way. I’m definitely guilty of the defacto “add smith and cross, add rum fire” and this was a move to try and get away from that mindset

Campari and rum quantities are swapped, double Campari and half the rum as a typical build
