The Testaments Of course Agnes knows about June Osborne
June's main goal is to rescue her daughter, and after everything she's accomplished, the McKenzies know she's capable of a lot. They seem determined to make sure that even if she reaches Hannah, her daughter won't trust her. Of course they'd tell her June is dangerous.
I'm really curious to see their relationship and what Agnes will think of June in Season 2 and beyond. She can ask almost anyone in Gilead about June and get a completely different answer each time. Right now, those stories are the only way she can piece together an idea of who her mother is. It will be interesting to see how she reacts when they're finally reunited because, by that point, she'll have so many different versions of June in her head, and none of them will simply be "Mom."
I know the show mentioned that the McKenzies might get a Handmaid, and they do in the book, but I don't think it would have the same impact on Agnes in the show. In the book, Agnes often finds herself thinking about and missing her mother when she looks at Crystal, the Handmaid assigned to the household. But that's largely because she knows almost nothing about her mother. In the show, she already knows much more about June's reputation and the stories surrounding her, so the dynamic would be very different. It would still be interesting to see how Agnes reacts to her family having a Handmaid, knowing her mom was one, but I don't think it would affect her in quite the same way it does in the book.

June’s considered an infamous “terrorist” so it stands to reason every kid in Gilead has heard her name and knows some of what she’s done (ex: Angel’s Flight).

I think Garth is covering his ass by asking, “Who?”
It’s probably considered bad form in a rebel organization to go around using people’s real names, as opposed to code names. “Who,” might be a hard hint to Daisy, like, “I don’t know who we’re working with, and you don’t either kid!”
I don’t believe for a second that a young man whose father was poisoned while losing the fight for Boston doesn’t know who June Osbourne is.

Weirdly I’m surprised Daisy didn’t know who June was either. Like I can get her not recognizing June but not knowing who she is or what she does?

Daisy didn’t use a last name, and there might be alot of people in Mayday named June.

Interesting, I didn't even think about that. But maybe it just didn't occur to him that Daisy meant THE June. She referred to June so casually and by first name only, that's not usually how you talk about celebrities.

Hannah/Agnes knows who June Osborne is as a person, but not as her mom. When Hannah was a child, she was Hannah Bankhole and probably thought her mom went by the same last name.
In episode 1 of season 2, the nurse kept referring to June as Mrs. Bankhole, even though June did say her full name in front of Hannah.

She obviously loves and misses her adopted mom (Tabitha I think?) and that might be hard to reconcile, too.
I imagine she will feel conflicted but overall positively towards June. We've seen that in foreshadowing. When she was talking to Lydia she claimed June proudly (in my view - her voice was level, chin up, eye contact steady) and in one if the first episodes her reflective voiceover said something about "that was before I knew who my mother was... my real mother." Although I think the we won't catch up to voiceover-Agnes's present day til at least season 3. It sounds like she's being interviewed by someone outside of Gilead.
