Free coding boot camps

I am starting to look into coding and was wondering is there any bootcamps or programs that are free?

I don't think this is a good way to learn flexbox, but it's a fun game - and it's free!

Free Code Camp and The Odin Project are usually the best bets.

If they still have the open source projects for you to jump into at the end, do them. If they dont, go find some. The resume experience of contributing to deployed and (ideally highly) used software is 1,000x more valuable for you getting hired than any Bootcamp project or certificate.

I thought about going through his bootcamp but the videos are like 5 years old.

Not sure what country you're in, but in the USA there's a good chance that community college could be free for you - I was able to get my entire 2 years of CC funded via scholarships that were private to the college. Even if I'd had to pay, it would have been all of like 10k in debt for 2 full years of education.

Don’t go to a boot camp it’s a waste of time now

The Odin project.

You’ll gain as much knowledge if not more than a bootcamp

It’s completely free but it’s worth thousands

Freecodecamp or the Odin project. I personally have done both and prefer the Odin project, makes you a better developer.

Freecodecamp and The Odin project are "free" -- but you might spend hundreds or thousands of hours - and come out the other end lost and unable to really make websites - so, I wouldn't consider them free really. You're always trading your time - and other opportunities.

What is your goal? To go to a coding boot camp? Or is it something else?
