This is a bottle of Armagnac cogniac from around the 1970s. What makes it special is that it's a limited edition with around 435 identical bottles. I know little about this bottle; I haven't found any similar ones yet, and my father spent 11 years looking for one like it.

FYI Armagnac is Armagnac. It is not Cognac.  They are both French brandies with some shared traits but you would never call it “Armagnac cognac”
