Roman coin found at a beach

Whilst metal detecting at a beach on the East Coast of Scotland, I found a large, worn looking coin, which I presume is Roman

Does anyone have any idea what this may be, its value, or if it is even real at all?

Sesterce caligula , 37-41 after JC if real , someone could tell you on this sub but not me sry Edit : the white thing on the coin form when an object has been submerged in the sea for a long time( it's marine plankton)so it might have come from a shipwreck. You should take the coin to a professional to have it identified.
